Vic Juip stood outside the gates of Mou's villa with a frown on her face, she took out a pocket mirror and checked her makeup. Smiling into the mirror, she nodded at herself.
She then looked up at the guards standing outside of the villa. "Hey! Do you think your Master will accept this? Do you know who I am?" She seethed.
She was told by her mother that Mou was looking for a wife. It wasn't rare for people like him to look for a wife that would give him benefits. Their company would allow the Guillard family to expand into the tech industry. While they had connections into tech, it was rumored that Mou was looking to personally expand.
The Juip family would give a clean entry and would also put together their businesses. Helping the Juip family, and Mou with the need of a wife...
Of course, Vic wasn't the only option, not only did she have a sister that was only a few years younger. But other families knew the option of marrying into the Guillard family.
The guards didn't say anything but inwardly sneered. They knew of the existence of Stella. While they had no idea who the woman who left the villa was only a couple of weeks ago, the fact she entered under a disguise, could only mean that their Master was serious... Or maybe he had strange fantasies?
Butler Tao walked out to the front gate. He inwardly said his prayers for this woman. As she would now be sent into the wolf... "Miss Juip, if you would like to follow me please." He gave a warm smile as the gates opened.
Vic nodded. She followed Butler Tao, she knew to become the madam of the Guillard family she would need the support of all the staff within Mou's villa.
She lost her haughtiness and replaced it with gracefulness. She did grow up in a socialite family after all, she had many masks.
Butler Tao gave Vic a quick tour of the villa. Walking through the gardens as he counted down the timing in his head. He glanced at the woman's face...
As he expected, 10 minutes of just walking around the villa not only made her tired and sweaty. But she was also extremely angry. Butler Tao smiled as he led Vic to the front door...
Vic was incensed at the actions of the old butler, but she needed his support. So she stayed quiet and just accepted the humiliation... It would only last until she was the Madam after all.
"Master, the miss of the Juip family has arrived." Butler Tao announced as he walked inside the villa with Vic.
Vic's eyes had been shining the entire time she was in the villa. It was said that everything in the villa was planned by a young Mou, it was a present from his father before his tragic death. Vic couldn't believe the flowers in the gardens were all one of a kind. The glass was something she had never seen before...
Butler Tao spotted these expressions. Indeed the villa wasn't as large as others, but the cost to make it was something beyond many people....
But when he saw the surprise in her face that the villa was so small... He understood that this woman was like others. So he punished her by making her a little late...
Vic walked in and saw the openess... It was a shock, her parent's mansion had long hallways with multiple paintings to show off their wealth. But Mou didn't need to show off his wealth. So he kept an open house. Letting people see the kitchen from the front door, to the living room...
"Miss Juip. It is a pleasure to have you here today." Vic heard an emotionless voice from the side of her.
She put on her best smile and turned. She saw Mou sitting on a sofa in a black suit. He was sitting like a king as he sipped on a cup of coffee...
She felt her heart skip a beat. "Oh? Miss Juip? I didn't know you were so popular Mou." Then her feelings came crashing down.
Vic looked over to opposite Mou, there she saw a woman wearing a jumper from god knows where. And then some skimpy shorts! She scowled at this woman being in Mou's villa!
Stella had stopped eating her watermelon and moved on to a glass of red wine. She gave a sly smile to Mou and to Vic. "Am I being the third wheel here Mou?" She asked as her eyes lit up.
Vic so badly wanted to shout yes! But she swallowed down her words and thought about the appearance of this woman.
"No, Miss Juip is here to discuss business." Mou replied, showing that he didn't care if Stella was here for the conversation or not.
Vic knew that this woman must be someone close to Mou. But she was clearly not a girlfriend of some sort. Was there another child from the Guillard family people didn't know about?
Her actions didn't show she was a person in love, she looked to be teasing Mou. So she must be close enough to tease him... A sister was the closest thing Vic came to.
"Please have a seat Miss Juip. Would you like anything to drink?" Mou asked in courtesy. As he glanced at butler Tao.
"Tea please." Vic didn't make an extravagant request, she wanted to make a good impression first.
Butler Tao left them. As Vic sat down far away from Stella but closer to Mou.
Stella smiled at Vic as she sipped her wine. "Vic Juip... I remember that you once appeared on the front covers of 'Women's people' right?" Stella led the conversation with stars in her eyes.
Vic nodded. She did model for a short period, 'Women's people' was a magazine led by her father's company. She used it to increase her reputation with the socialites.
"Ah. That sky blue dress was indeed beautiful... I heard that using sky blue on a date would give you good luck." Stella had the look of a hardcore fan at the moment.
Vic was stunned, she remembered being quoted for that magazine for those words... She inwardly smiled as she now knew the best way of attack. "I'm flattered you remember my words." She gave an embarrassed look.
Stella chuckled. "How could I forget? Those words shape my ideals to this day..." Stella replied, as she took in Vic's look.
Vic was quite attractive, certainly for a woman who was slightly sweating, but that made her even more attractive. Her long, black hair complemented her heavy lipstick quite well. But other than that... She was a little bland compared to Stella.
At least that was in Mou's eyes. Vic was just bland. He wasn't impressed with how she just walked into his villa... He wasn't impressed with her makeup and how she made herself look more appealing. He was only happy to go along with Stella's plan that she had...
Stella continued to ramble on and on. Speaking about modeling jobs that even Vic forgot she did. At first, Vic was more than happy to paint herself a good picture in front of this woman. But then she noticed the time she would have before Mou would need to leave was decreasing.
"That's the new handbag created by designer Hill isn't it? Ah. I wanted one but I just couldn't find a store where it wasn't sold out." Stella pouted, as she looked like an upset younger sister ready to be spoiled.
Vic gulped. This woman... She couldn't tell if she knew what she was doing or if she was just plain stupid. Knowing that Mou didn't stop her talking it told Vic that he just allowed her to do as she wished. "I was lucky that my father knew designer Hill and got myself an order." Vic answered, making Mou's eyes narrow slightly.
Stella smiled and nodded in awe. While Mou checked the watch on his wrist. "Mou..." Vic was going to say something until she realized something.
How could she say what she needed to? Mou hadn't paid any attention to her at all. He had just been drinking a cup of coffee and listening to the conversation without adding anything.
"How may I help you Miss Juip?" Mou replied, he needed to go to the company by this time...
Vic found herself tongue-tied, she looked towards Stella for some assistance.
"Mmm, Mou you're not busy at lunch right?" Stella asked thoughtfully. As Vic's eyes shone.
"No why?" Mou's tone was noticeably warmer to Stella...
"Good, go to the restaurant we always go together then. I'm feeling for their swordfish right now..." Stella pouted as she rubbed her stomach.
Vic took notice of the restaurant Mou frequented for business. It did sell swordfish...
"Alright then." Mou wasn't stupid. 'So this is her plan...'
Stella then turned her attention back to Vic. Talking about movies, makeup handbags... During the conversation, Mou had left for the company. Now Vic was talking to a woman she didn't know the name of...
"Excuse me Miss Guillard. My father wanted me to the company in an hour so I will excuse myself." Vic had enough listening to Stella for almost an entire morning. She needed to get ready for lunch with Mou...
Butler Tao almost cracked up with laughter. Stella broke this woman so much she thought Stella was Mou's sister? Oh dear...
"Oh... That's fine, make sure you aren't late then." Stella gave a sly smile.
Vic nodded. 'At least this woman is helpful in some way...'
Vic practically ran out of the mansion, as the guards watched in glee as the haughty woman looked exhausted...
Stella stayed sitting on the sofa. But her smile vanished as she opened another wine bottle. "Miss Stella..." Butler Tao wanted to warn her to not drink so much...
He watched Stella drink two bottles on her own. While she didn't seem to be affected, he didn't know how his master would respond.
Stella poured herself another glass. "I wouldn't worry butler Tao." Stella answered, making butler Tao wonder if she was talking about Mou or not...
Butler Tao left Stella to her own devices. Stella drank wine at a slow pace. As she leaned back into the sofa, she felt a sting in her back. "Haaah, how boring." Stella felt that talking to an idiot made her tired... Maybe she should have a nap?
