Cerim nodded in appreciation, he didn't expect Stella to be so good in woman's fashion.
Emily walked out with a stunned look on her face, 'didn't the designer say this outfit was suggested by Stella?' The outfit was better than she could think for herself...
Mou took a glance over to Stella. He was leaning against the wall with the same smile which followed him. However, something didn't feel quite right...
"Alright. Which one of you will be telling me what's going on today?" Emily was seething, she didn't expect to get dolled up today...
Cerim grinned. "I'm sure you heard that Yuon's wedding is today? We are just giving them a visit."
Emily now felt that things were coming together in her mind. But the frown remained. "But that doesn't explain why I'm coming with you. Also, why Cerim is driving and Mou is in the passenger seat."
Indeed, that didn't make sense at all. But all she got was a grin from Cerim.
The four went back to the car. The staff kept their heads low. Ignoring the people who were just in the shop being some powerful figures...
At least the car park they used was for VVIP's.
...............
Yuon had a wide smile plastered on his face for the entire day. He didn't care how tiresome it was to accept guests for his wedding... He just couldn't wait to marry the woman of his dreams...
When Yuon was called to get ready, Ryan and Kiera took his place. Accepting and thanking guests who arrived.
While it may seem like a seamless wedding. This was a battlefield, one wrong action from the hosts and it would be used against them. One wrong action from the guests, and they might be blacklisted from the business circle entirely.
The families were all invited and all had to grovel at the feet of the Fude family, only the Guillard family wasn't expected to arrive today...
"CEO Fude, I'm glad to see your son marry the woman who he loves." One of Ryan's closest partners walked up to the couple.
Kiera's eyes flashed but she hid her emotion, Ryan kept a smile on his face. "Thank you CEO Toggar, my son has been keen to marry her for a while now."
CEO Toggar kept his cool, while he and Ryan were friendly competitors the business world isn't kind. If he has an opportunity to one-up his opponent, then he will...
After accepting many compliments and letting most of the business and a-list actors into the wedding venue, Ryan and Kiera seemed to have exhausted the invitation list. "Mrs Fude is this all?" One of the wedding staff asked quietly in the corner of the reception.
Kiera took a look at the list... Remembering the names who didn't accept their invite...
Suddenly a member of staff opened the front door. "Mrs Fude, we have an unexpected guest outside." He looked to be quite nervous, they couldn't afford to make a mistake for this special wedding up...
Kiera raised her eyebrows. 'Who would dare disturb my son's wedding?" She was both interested and enraged...
She walked towards the enterance of the reception, opening the door with urgency, as her expression took a dark turn.
She could see multiple security guards surrounding a car. Although she couldn't see what the make was, she wasn't going to accept anyone making a mess of this...
...............
"Are you ready?" Ryan asked his son, he was sitting behind him as he looked at himself in the mirror.
Yuon released a deep breath. Was he ready? Yes, he was nervous, but he had been waiting far too long to marry Zou...
"Of course I am father." Yuon answered as he turned around.
Ryan nodded in appreciation. Keeping appearances was crucial in the world, and with Yuon's custom-made suit he looked like a teenager was blossoming into a husband. It suited his younger look and his age to marry.
Ryan was glad that his son could finally marry. It truly enraged him when rumors appeared that Yuon was a waste of a person, not earning his keep, leeching off of the Fude family. Even though he decided to keep quiet on Yuon's life to mold him into the strongest successor for the Fude family.
When Stella was disinherited, it was the best consequence for his family, his wife was glad that her sister no longer held a strong grip on her father, he didn't need to worry about male competition for the business. And his son lost the only competitor to be the next heir.
"Remember here son. Within a married life, there will be ups and downs. Things won't always go your way and you will need to compromise, not only is keeping your family in check important, but also keeping appearances." Ryan patted away the non-existent dust away from his son's shoulders.
Yuon nodded. While he didn't always see eye to eye on his father's decisions he knew that he always meant the best. But sometimes he felt his father was too soft...
*Knock* "Come in." Ryan answered as he prepared himself.
*Cough* "Apologies master, but the madam has encountered an issue outside." Housekeeper We was disguised as a member of staff, it's not like he was well known...
Ryan frowned. "Alright, just wait for another 10 minutes and the ceremony will begin." He left his son to see what the problem was...
Unfortunately for Ryan, not only him, but all of the guests caught wind of the Fude Madam dealing with some issues outside... It was their opportunity to pick up some interesting information or gossip...
