Chapter 61 - (Chapter 61) The Return Of The Second Heir 12

After filming was done, Stella walked around the city for some time. She ended up stopping at an ice-cream shop in the middle of the city.

The placement was great, planted between a university and a public hotspot. As summer was slowly approaching, the store was becoming busier...

Stella walked in and was greeted by a large queue, she glanced around and saw an empty table so she walked over and sat down.

Stella waited for around half an hour, until a waitress in the shop noticed that she was still expecting an order...

"How may I help?" The waitress was professional and had a small smile on her face.

But what made Stella secretly impressed was the waitresses' height, she could be around 6 feet (181cm). It made Stella have to look up a little more than she would have expected...

"Can I have two vanilla ice-creams please." Stella responded in a slightly cold tone.

But that didn't matter to the waitress, she had dealt with worse people before. "Right away!" She cheerfully walked away.

Stella took notice of her short hair as she twirled her own in her finger, she looked lost as she looked down at her phone.

"Sorry for the wait miss, here are your two vanilla ice-creams!" The waitress came back within an instant, with a bright smile on her face.

She was certainly pretty, she was lean, tall, had a bubbly personality and approachable attitude, Stella nodded as she looked downward.

Stella took one vanilla ice-cream and then placed the other one to the other side of her table. "If you wouldn't mind?" Stella asked with a low voice, and a sad smile.

The waitress opened her mouth in surprise, she looked around the store and saw it wasn't as busy... Then she looked down at the ice-cream...

She calmly took a seat, she noticed that this customer looked quite upset...

"So vanilla was your favorite?" Stella asked as she took a spoon and dug into her ice-cream.

The waitress froze. That sentence made it sound like the woman had known her favorite was ice-cream and wanted to confirm...

"It is, especially here. The vanilla is strong but not overpowering, unlike other ice-creams which are either milky or just ice." The waitress responded naturally, it was her actual opinion after all...

Stella kept her spoon in the ice-cream, not taking a bite. Instead of just watching the waitress lose care in her job in exchange for ice-cream...

"Mmm, have you worked here long?" Stella asked with interest.

The waitress nodded, "Since I started university around two years ago." She replied as these conversations weren't all that rare in her job.

"Ahh, so you go to Ryland University?" Stella made a natural connection to the university in the area.

The waitress nodded, as she looked up to face the woman who was talking to her.

She was amazed, the woman looked like a goddess. Despite hiding her face while she was ordering, while sitting in front of her. She had a good view.

She then asked herself the question of why she was wearing baggy clothing? She must have wanted to go here without much care and to not be stared at.

After answering her own question, the waitress continued eating.

Stella just watched as her ice-cream disappeared into the waitresses' mouth. She focused on the woman coming to their table behind the waitress...

*Cough* "Sasha, so this was what you were doing?" A quite familiar female voice broke the waitresses' enjoyment.

The spoon clinked on to the bowl, as she turned around... "Sis... I can explain..." The waitress now looked troubled.

*Sigh* "Don't bother, I hope you know that the sight of you eating your customer's ice-cream isn't extremely professional. I sincerely apologize for what my sister has done." The woman looked at her sister with disappointment written on her face.

Sasha looked at the table with dissarray. 'How? I'm sure I was only eating a single portion...' She wasn't that hungry... Right?

Stella shook her head and lightly smiled. "No need to apologize, the conversation was enough for me." Stella took out some money from her purse and placed it onto the table.

The woman who was standing behind Sasha had eagle eyes, she was a top socialite in the country... But couldn't identify the brand of purse or handbag.

Either it was a false brand, or it was a one of a kind, but judging by the woman's demeanor... The woman betted on the fact it was a one-of-a-kind.

"Still, let me apologize for my sister's behavior. Come on Sasha, Mum wants us home tonight." The woman immediately pulled around Sasha to apologize to her employer and dragged her away from the ice-cream.

"Oh Emily, there is no need to apologize to me." Stella mumbled with a grin, she couldn't wait to enjoy the look on their faces when they realize...

...............

*Cough* "Sasha, is something bothering you?" A warm woman's voice broke Sasha from her thoughts.

Sasha shook her head. "No mother, I was just thinking about something I have due in a few days." Sasha replied as she continued eating.

The table she was eating on was big enough to fit a family of 8, the walls were surrounded with family photos and adoring photos... It was a homely environment.

"Oh? I can guess what you were thinking about Sasha." Emily replied with a slight grin.

Despite the Pold family's position in society, the entire family was a tight-knitted group. It was a warm environment and against the norms of high society, these conversations were extremely common.

Sasha blushed and lowered her head. Every time she would even be like this her sister was right on the money...

"Oh? Please elaborate." Their mother was extremely invested now, as her eyes twinkled at her two daughters.

Their father took a glance at his wife, trying to remind her not to get too excited over nothing...

"Well, I guess you could say there was a unique customer for Sasha earlier, hence why she was late. That customer bought her favorite and just spoke with her." Emily's tone and facial expression were so perfect for teasing that it made her father sorry for his daughter to have a sister like that...

"Siiisss. I would never get sidetracked at work." Sasha attempted to defend herself.

"Really? I'm very sure that you couldn't stop going on about a goddess while in the car. Was this woman really that good looking?" Nio's voice came from beside Sasha, he also had quite an interesting expression.

Emily looked at Nio in utter disgust, "You are questioning our eyes? She is easily better than anything I've got to look at all day. She is respectable eye candy if I say so myself."

"..." Nio didn't understand why he became object to his sister's hatred... So he just fiddled his food with a fork.

Mmm, his son was outnumbered. Father Pold felt bad for his son who gets bullied by his sisters all day.

"You even say that she was good looking Emily? You should bring her around one day." Another kindly voice came from the table.

Emily giggled. "Sure sis, maybe she would be your girlfriend if you asked enough." Emily joked, making her sister shrug her shoulders in response.

The oldest Pold child, Hannah. It would surprise all upper-class families to see an unmarried 30-year-old woman still living at home, but she is the backbone of all of the siblings. Just her charm could make the entire room calm down in response...

Her response was just her smiling at Emily. As Hannah watched her siblings eat, she nodded with certainty.

*Sigh* "I thought that she looked extremely familiar, If she wasn't in my shop or wearing those clothes she could pass as a princess. But I got the inkling feeling that I've seen her before." Sasha explained herself, in which Emily nodded.

"Should I hack the cameras in the shop then?" An intrigued voice asked to the side.

Poppy, the fourth oldest of the Pold children. The oldest of triplets of her, Sasha, then Nio. Her long black hair, contrasts her sister's blonde hair but matches Nio's.

Father Pold facepalmed. Did he really raise these children to be carbon copies of himself and his wife?

"Mmm, good idea." A short answer came from beside Hannah.

Lucy, the second oldest of the Pold children. Her ample breasts and slightly cold face make her the most voted for men's secret admirer. She built her business from scratch and her sharp eyes distinguish her identity...

"See! Even Lucy thinks I should, I won't get caught daddy. We are all interested in this woman now so it wouldn't matter if you said no." Poppy went to work to persuade her father to allow illegal activity.

"Alright, just don't cause any trouble." Instant defeat for Father Pold.

Mother Pold facepalmed at the sight of her husband.
