There is nothing sweet than being home and there is peace there. Unlike other times when we find chaos at home due to some disputes between members we still love being there so that we can understand the gist behind the chaos. East West, home is the best!
' Phew!' Newton let air escape his mouth. His head was on his pillow. How he had missed it! It had been three months since his head had get into contact with it.
As he stared into the empty space, he remembered what Nina had told him before.
'Newts let's go to the river to bask there.' Bella proposed and Newton just nodded his head to accept. Bella was used to him saying little or even no words to her. She knew it was his nature and she was used to it but at first when the friendship between the two was being made, she had ended up having quarrels with him due to him not uttering any words.
They went to the seasonal river which was called 'Kario' The season was wet and the rains had filled the river. They sat at the shore and started talking about how the surrounding had changed. It was green and looked splendid.
Newton took some small stones and started to throw them in the river as he watched the ripples fill up the surface. Doing that, he invited Bella's attention and she too threw some pebbles that were beside her in the river. They took it as fun but little did they know that they were annoying a girl who was just passing by.
'Hey you stop throwing stones in the river!' Nina said in a commanding tone. Newton who heard the girl talk turned his head and saw a petite girl in tights staring at them with Furious eyes. Bella was obsessed watching as the ripples formed and had not heard a person behind them talk.
'Oh Hi Nina.' Newton greeted the girl as he stood from his position to meet the girl. She was small in height compared to Bella and she had tied her dark hair in a bun. She had high cheekbones and red lips. Her eyes were large and they were dark in colour. Her complexion was that similar of a chocolate candy.
'Hi Newton.' She said camly as she invited him to give him a hug. He readly accepted it as he pressed himself on her bosom. The hug took a longer time than usual because Newton could have fell on her due to the amount of force he was applying on her. They steadied themselves and Nina chuckled as a smile formed on her red lips as she separated her body for his.
'Hey you, are you not going to greet me?' Nina asked Bella as she still was seated on the grass. Bella gave her a smile and she rose to give her a handshake. They all were friends since childhood and they shared a lot of memories.
The three sat at the ground and Newton continued to throw stones to the river. Nina held his hand as he was about to throw another stone. 'Please Newton, don't throw stones there.' Nina said.
'Why is that. Is there any problem?' He asked her.
'No there isn't but there is no use for filling the river with stones. As you can see, this river is a seasonal one and when the dry season comes, the river dries and children takes the stones that are left and throw them to each other.'
She ended up her lengthy statement that had received attention from Bella and Newton.
'This girl is caring. Since when did she start.'Newton thought to himself. They had nodded to her remark and they had seized to throwing stones and had started to remind themselves about old times.
