"Can you? Can you, Yilas?" Zassar was excited and amazed, she had only started training not too long ago but if she could pull this off, it could save them.
Yilas had a faint smile on her face, she nodded and hoped for the best. She slid off Zassar's back and landed on the cold, damp ground, it instantly made her shivered. Not letting the circumstances affected her, Yilas pulled both of her arms out straight and pointed it toward a random direction.
With her palms facing outward, Yilas focuses on what she had learned and concentrate on her energy. A few seconds later, red flows of energy had covered her arms entirely, but Yilas's eyes were still sealed shut.
Mohsen cautiously backed off with Zassar, making the horse beast-man confused. He hadn't seen Yilas practice closely so he couldn't possibly imagine the type of power she possessed.
In a blink of an eye, Yilas had released the fire energy from her body as soon as she opened her eyes. It shot out of her control the second she commanded it to go like how a handgun worked. The fireball was bigger than a bullet but yet smaller than a tennis ball, it wheeled an orange-red color and made a 'BAM' noise. It was as loud as the thunder making the silent forest lost all of its calmness yet it came and went so quickly as if it had never happened.
Fortunately, the fire shot burned a line in every tree that it passed, making a clear straight line further than the eye could see, showing them a path to the outside. The mist seemed to be confirming the same set of rules and parted their ways for the energy to make way.
After a while, it still shocked Zassar to the point where his eyeballs almost fell out of its socket, even a grown beast-man like himself was trembling a little in his knees and his heart was beating like crazy. 'How could that tiny female produce that much power in one blow?' he thought to himself. A small part of him was terrified but the other was extremely turned on.
Mohsen wasn't surprised so he recovered faster and went to check on Yilas right after, though it seemed that she was alright after all. Yilas answered him with a comforting smile but Mohsen was still unhappy about her over-exerting her strength. His eyebrows still furrowed harshly after checking Yilas from head to toe.
After the initial shock and fear, Zassar became very happy, he cheered Yilas like a mad man and praised her with all the words his simple mind could produce. It made Yilas blushed and it looked so pretty on her, Zassar couldn't help but admire this tunning beast-woman even more deeply.
They continued on their way with Yilas back on Zassar's back, after all, she should rest after using such excessive energy.
At first, Yilas felt fine, she only felt slightly tired like usual but half an hour passed by and it started to change. Yilas started to cough, from little chuckles to full-blown hacking her lungs away. Though she only felt a little tickle in her throat.
"Do you smell that?" Zassar asked Mohsen and then they sniffed around a little before Mohsen looked at him and said.
"Yes, it smells like fresh blood..." Uncontrollably, both beast-man turned around and looked at Yilas only to find a horrifying truth on her face.
Two thick streams of blood were running from her nostrils. Not to mention another line coming from her white eye, it ran down so long if almost touched her lips.
Mohsen opened his eyes in horror, and Zassar immediately started to panic.
"Oh God Yilas!" Zassar screamed yet Yilas looked at them all naive like she didn't understand what was going on.
"Hurry, lay her down, NOW!" Mohsen anxiously demanded. The two worked as fast as they could and laid Yilas comfortably on the cold ground.
Yilas wasn't sure why the excessive movement made her dizzy but once she was on the ground all her senses were going numb, everything was fading away too, even their voices. Before she knew it, Yilas had completely fallen unconscious.
