Qi Cultivation (daoists):
Fundamental Refinement (awakening the meridians and dantian. then condense qi into liquid and form a spring from which qi can be regenerated)
Spiritual Awakening (opening spiritual senses, and allowing a better perception of things unseen, like the dao.)
Core Establishment (a talent gateway that forms unique cores within the dantian based on the cultivation art. serves as a foundation for the next stage.)
Soul Reformation (infuse the soul and will into the core, then shatter it to transition the entirety of your cultivation to your newly reborn daoist soul.)
Every soldier is required to learn the fundamental refinement manuals and practice them. Most will never reach the 2nd stage of cultivation in their lifetime.
'Average' cultivators would spend their prime years in the 2nd stage, reaching the 3rd only in their middle ages and likely never surpassing that.
A sect elder is almost always a 4th stage cultivator. Clarke Estate Helpers are mostly early 4th stage cultivators. Royal instructors are either mid-late 4th stage or have especially high expertise in their skill sets.
A sect leader is generally a 5th stage cultivator.
It is rumored that the three monarchs of Demia, Nalduri, and Toubia, are all 6th stage cultivators.
