For the first time, there were no birds, no mom, no brothers, no animals to wake me up from my sleep, it was the loudness of the silence and the replaying of yestre memories that kept flooding into my head from time to time. The night was so still that I felt like I was in a 6-inch thick glass jar safely tucked away in some cupboard never to be reached by any human soul in sight or this case a supernatural being.
The light seeping through the windows was like that of dusk, calm and gentle. A trail of light illuminated a parcel on an armchair that was in the room next to the fireplace, it was a fairly large parcel neatly wrapped in silver with a dainty silver chain as its ribbon.
I cautiously approached the parcel that rested on the armchair and picked it up, it was surprisingly light with a bit of weight but not as heavy as my Quinus my dog who I was missing terribly. I opened it slowly taking in the great detail in which it was wrapped. I found a note in the parcel which read
Dear vanilla flower,
I write to you this letter informing you of the introduction ceremony which will be happening in the evening. I've found something for you to wear I hope you find it to your liking I trust you will manage the rest by yourself. I'll come to get you once finished managing some affairs.

As I put the letter aside, I saw a glowing orange garment peeking from inside the box, this was going to be a long ceremony I thought out loud to myself .
