Chapter 53. You are mine
The night in Nighthallow City was getting late. The city was so quiet, there were only a few guards on patrol while accompanied by a moonlight.
Suspicious movements accompanied by a strange sound could be heard, as they passed through a dark mansion with an antique design located west of the city. The building looks normal from the front but it is actually the biggest black market auction place in Aeros.
"Who is that?!" said one of the guards as he examined surround him.
A shadow flashed and turned.
"Thief! Quickly chase after him!" They took out their weapons and chased after the shadow.
Their steps stopped when they reached the building's back door as they lost track of the shadow.
"Where is he going?" They swept their gaze around them.
-Krieekkk
The back door opened by itself and the guards looked at it suspiciously.
"Did he run in there?"
"We have to check it."
The others answered with a nod.
One of them cast the 'Light Orb' spell and they slowly walked into the dark building, their eyes observing every corner. But after a few steps, the door behind them closed.
-Krieekkk --- Brakk!
They turned in surprise at the door, their hands tightly gripping their weapons.
"Who is that?!"
Instead of an answer, they could faintly hear a groaning sound. Confused, one of them waved his hand. Their orb light flew towards the origin of the sound.
Their eyes widened in surprise, their faces turned pale, their bodies trembling in fear when they saw the true form of the sound. Undead ... And there are a lot of them.
Their faces were pale, some parts of their bodies were gone, their organs were scattered and hung on their bodies. Blood soaked their bodies.
The undead approached them. The guards tried to escape to the other side.
- Brakkk!
They crash into something in the dark and fall.
They looked at what hit them. Another group of undead had blocked their way.The guards trembled in fear without any strength to stand up, sweat trickling down their entire bodies.
"Aaaa ----- Aaaarrrrrrgggggg !!!!!!" Their fearful screams filled the room. The undead slowly raided them, tearing apart their bodies, eating them alive.
In another room on the building's top floor, a man holding a skull covered in dim green light approached a woman bound with a rope. An orb with the green light is their only lighting in the room full of bookshelves.
The man only wore black trousers with a tattoo under his left eye, showing his well-built body clearly with a big diagonal scar on his back. While the woman only wore mini tight clothes that covered her breast and her heat. A pair of pointy ears poking out from her black hair. Her expression was cold but her eyes were staring at him in anger.
-Kraauk---kraauk----kraauks...
Around them, some undead were busy eating and tearing apart the corpses of well-dressed men like a group of hungry wolves that ate their prey.
"Tania, I came to save you. I have killed people who tried to hurt you, " the man said, smiling at her.
"Save me? What bullshit!" She snorted sarcastically.
"Sarael, tell me what you really want ?!"
Sarael brought his face to her ear.
"I want you ..." he whispered.
Tania gave him a sarcasm smirk.
"Want me? Or want that book?"
He looked at her and gave her a seductive smirk.
"I want you more than that book."
"Lies," she said curtly.
Sarael stroked her face gently and Tania responded by turning her face away from his hands. He looked at her in disappointment.
"You weren't cold like this before."
She was silent while still turning her face.
He took her chin and pulled it facing him.
"Tania ..." he pleaded.
"I hate you. I hate you so much," she said as she stared at him furiously.
"Then I'll make you fall for me one more time."
"Try it," she challenged.
Without warning, he bumped his lips at hers, his tongue slipped into her mouth and explored inside her. Tania struggled to release herself but with her hands bound, her efforts were in vain.
Finally, she bit his lip.
"Ack!" He released his kiss while retreating in pain, holding his bleeding lips.
"After what you did to my tribe. Do you think I can forgive you?! " she snapped.
"That's not my doing! I never stole that book," he defended himself.
"I don't believe you!"
Sarael looked irritated by her words. He hugged her and made her feel his heart that beating fast. His eyes trembled in emotion.
"Tania, please believe me. I'm not lying."
"Let me go." she said coldly.
"No..." he refused.
"Let me go!" she repeated in a harsher voice.
"You are mine. I won't let you go. No one can take you from me..."
