King Vespertine stood on the high platform while facing all the Shadow Council members and the members of all the high and noble families that were initially there to attend the ball but were now waiting to hear the fate of their Crown Prince Felix and Princess Roselyn of the Spirit Realm.
"It's been quite a while since we have a mishap at a great occasion like this..." he started while addressing his people, "... but sometimes, these mishaps leads to really good things."
The ballroom bursted into murmurs as soon as King Vespertine said these words. Everyone seemed quite confused about what could be good about all that just happened between the Crown Prince Felix and Princess Roselyn.
"I would like to inform you all about certain important matters that have either already taken place in the last couple of weeks... or are going to take place in the coming days." The King continued, causing everyone to become silent so that they won't miss anything important.
