There was silence following King Vespertine's words that sounded more like a promise or commitment. It was Caspian who finally broke the silence but this time, his words were directed at Roselyn.
"Don't worry too much. You don't have to explain anything to anyone here. I will get you safely out of here."
Roselyn just nodded her head but didn't say anything. She would never have guessed that her secret would be revealed like this on such an unexpected day and occasion. Her brain was a complete mess at the moment and she decided to remain silent in order to hold herself back from doing or saying anything that would cause more unnecessary trouble. Besides, she was in a situation where she could not tell whom to believe and whom to not.
