"What are you doing, dude?" Kaito shouted as he pulled away from the kiss, leaving Roselyn energyless as she immediately fell straight into his arms and despite his ongoing glaring contest with River, he still caught her instantly and wrapped his arms around her protectively.
"Reminding you that she's my mate." River said through gritted teeth as he glared back at the annoying vampire.
"And mine too," Kaito remarked immediately as he pulled Roselyn closer to his body while tightening his hold around her, a movement that didn't go unnoticed from River's sharp gaze. Still, the Prince didn't try to pull Roselyn away from him.
"Are you feeling alright now?" He asked Roselyn as he brushed away her hair from her face to look at her, his eyes still carried the concern that she was not expecting to ever see in them.
