"You shouldn't be saying it out loud..." She hurriedly pressed her hand over Caspian's mouth to stop the man from saying anything further about something that was supposed to stay a secret for the rest of her life.
Caspian took hold of her hand and lowered it as he claimed, "Don't worry, Princess. No one's here to listen to our conversation. Your secret is completely safe with me. I would never put you in danger by being so neglecting toward such an important thing."
She finally relaxed slightly but still was too lost to pull her hand out of his hold. "How... how do you know about my..." She didn't finish her question but it was still enough for Caspian to understand what she wanted to ask.
"You are the woman I'm going to marry, of course, I know every single thing about you. All of your stories and... all of your secrets."
