Chereads / Mr Villain Please Go Away [Under Heavy Revison] / Chapter 25 - A dragon's warning, a Kuhron's temper.

Chapter 25 - A dragon's warning, a Kuhron's temper.

Walking deep within the room, just along the border between light and shadow, Alicia's eyes followed Sheila when she let go of her hand.

Sheila grabbed the head of the regency klismos chair. Her pulling out the chair caused a harsh hissing sound while it scrapped across the mild wood floors.

She plopped down. Roughly crossing her legs she leans back languidly against the round marble table. Her posture tickled a laugh from Alicia. Sheila looked lazy with a touch of arrogance, her cat-like gaze squinting faintly.

The Villain seemed to have handed Alicia full control. Not once did he argue nor show any signs of resisting her. As such, with little effort she guided him to the white couch cloaked in gentle shadow.

He abruptly tensed, startled by her following actions of stripping his upper garments. Apparently he hadn't expected anything else from her besides settling him down.

"Stay still. I'm checking your wounds." Alicia reminded him.

In silence he looked on in shock.

She hadn't noticed his taut form as her focus had been solely on her current actions. Set on her task, she expertly began removing the bandages and gauze.

Glancing over his wide, bronze, and toned body, a man ghosted through Alicia's mind.

Shaped and toned quite like the villain, his ivory skin, poreless with little to no body hair. Unlike the villain's silvery hair, his hair was red as fire, his black eyes cold and hard as steel.

He'd been her first relationship and her last. The man who claimed her to be boring, dating her friend soon after Alicia. Half Japanese, quarter American and Chinese, Yudo Chen.

Despite his drool worthy frame, a man's dream body, and a cold taciturn personality which most girls nowadays swoon over, the man himself hadn't an ounce of fight in him.

No martial arts experience. No weaponry experience. His self defense was near non-existent. He didn't even know how to throw a proper punch.

Two times the man had gone to the hospital for broken thumbs.

And how did he break his thumbs? If your ideas have leaned anywhere towards magnificent fights showcasing manly pride, then you'd be so wrong even the devil would correct you for free.

Now if your guesses had come close to improper fighting posture, then you'd be correct. Which both the god and devil would applaud you for your smarts.

Seriously, she'd always assumed that throwing punches with the thumb curled beneath the fingers was common sense. So common in fact even under-aged children below 10 would know this.

Imagine her shock when she met someone above the age of twenty, nearing his thirties who did not. Instead of the proper form, he'd squeeze his thumbs within his palm as he punched. Even more shocking was that the man couldn't comprehend why it was wrong in the first place.

Isn't it natural you'd break your thumb, or at least dislocate it?

Alicia quickly banished her thoughts of Yudo. Comparing the two men felt like a sin. One that the duplicitous god would pay the devil to correct.

Alicia ended her casual glance of the villain's torso. Since she was unlucky enough to be subjected to such a muscle bound specimen for nearly five years, the villain's body had little to no effect on her.

Obviously the two were different as one was an aesthetically crafted beauty. Whilst the other an environmentally crafted beauty, strong, full of power and might.

Visually though, Alicia couldn't spot much of a difference.

"Why does your wound look this way? Why is the skin even more torn? It was not this wide nor did it go this far before." She deeply frowned.

Skimming her fingers along the edges of the villain's wounds, her frown became heavier. Half the wound was more irritated then the rest despite it layered in medicine.

Silver, who seemed to enjoy her attention, responded haphazardly. "After waking up, a black haired man with green eyes came to me. Without a word his hand stabbed into my wound as he walked off with you."

"Krad?!" Alicia exclaimed. "Where's the sense in his actions? Why in the world would he do that to you?"

How could he?! Does he realize how dangerous that was? Does he realize he could be the trigger that causes the gun, Silver Erlik, to shoot her dead?!

Even though she knew Krad wasn't one hundred percent level headed it didn't make sense for him to act in this way. Unless he somehow found out the villain was a villain, which she highly doubted. With that idea crossed off, there was no reason she could think of.

"Who knows why that clean freak does what he does. Perhaps he thought the man was dirty." Sheila shrugged with a joking tone.

"Stabbing a man cause he's dirty, an injured man at that." Alicia huffed. "Sheila, your sense of humor is degrading into dark humor. Should I be worried?"

"I have to amuse myself somehow. This peaceful house is too draining. What will I do if I become a couch potato and forget how to fly? Or even worse, what if I forget I'm a dragon!" Sheila pulled down her cheeks in horror. Quite like 'The Scream' painted by Edvard Munch.

What else could Alicia do but roll her eyes at Sheila's exaggeration.

Sheila and her eccentric personality did not seem to fit her identity as a dragon. Some days, Alicia believed she might have influenced her too much. But most days she loved how open to change her good sister is.

She felt blessed to have Sheila a part of her life. Indeed saving her was the right choice. Even though without permission she'd domineeringly took up the position of her best friend. Which did not bother her in the least.

Slapping both her bent knees to a stand, Alicia looked over at Sheila to say, "Look after him for me. I'll go grab some medicine and new bandages."

Then she walked off.

Silver followed Alicia's form with his eyes increasingly becoming heavier and heavier. Even after she'd left his eyes remained on the door, weighted in dense feelings he did not even try to conceal.

Silver and Sheila were left alone.

Taking a sip from her tea which she'd warmed back up with her fire, Sheila harshly clanked the cup upon the table.

She squinted her eyes at Silver's lack of response. The gaze of his was too obvious, too straightforward for her to ignore. And so she didn't.

"Your thoughts will get you killed, boy." Sheila harshly admonished. That playful dragon from a bit ago was long gone.

The natural lights dimmed. The shadow became thicker around Silver as he laughed knowingly. "Oh. Will they now? You speak as if you know them well."

Sheila clicked her tongue. "How can I not. That misplaced overconfidence of yours is as plain as the blood on your hands. Which you reek of."

Sheila narrowed her eyes at him, but Silver did not respond. She tapped on the table. Her patience becoming shorter with each hit.

"You should know, my son is the one who saved your life. Without him, you'd have been someone else's dinner already. Torn limb to limb, eaten without a single piece left to spare. It was my son who brought you here. Alicia merely finished the job he started." Her words were obvious, telling him to abandon his confidence.

Sheila is an old dragon. Her knowledge is vast and indisputable. She knew that most Kuhrons' were delusional, easily swayed into a fantasy with whom they found interest in.

Even though it was thanks to this that Kuhrons' rarely had more then one partner, it did not become a redeeming feature. After all, their delusions would sometimes, if not most times push them into doing unspeakable acts towards said partner.

Since she knew of this, she had to destroy any 'would be' fantasy in their tracks. She did not want Alicia subjected to that kind of interest.

Silver seemed to realize her intentions but also he didn't seem to care much either as he responded.

"I know. But so what?"

The temperature rose. The room turned humid yet dry. Sheila let her temper loose, heating the moisture in the air, turning the surroundings into a sauna.

"Don't test me, boy. You think testing the waters because they appear shallow will gain you a foot hold?" She felt nothing but derision as she snorted.

"You best think twice. Although Alicia may not be a dainty lotus, ignorant to the ways of the world. Her thinly balanced mind will not be ruined by you. Boy, you should know your place. None within this estate will allow you to act on your thoughts."

"Really now." Silver laughed. It sounded empty yet full of pressure.

He leaned back languidly, his smiling eyes and curved lips look rather fake as he said "Last time I checked, I was no boy. So you might want to revise your statement."

The tea cup and pot gained a crack when Sheila gripped the table with irritation.

"Correct. You are a man well over the age. At least two centuries by the smell of you. With your age, how dare you look at her with those eyes. You must have lost your mind. Would you like me to help you find it?"

"Is that a threat?" Silver glared. The ice in his eyes cooled down the heat which had claimed the room.

Silver's gaze was so sharp, so bloodthirsty, he looked like what his race was known for. A beast ready to chew off the neck of its prey.

"What do you think?" She tilted her head in provocation.

Sheila was no better than Silver. Her gaze held all of the pressure and force a dragon was known for. She too looked ready to kill him at a moment's notice.

"Alicia is a ten year old child, a young bud. I'm warning you. If you go too far, it won't just be me, this dragon who'll have your head. I am by far not the scariest thing here. So you better withdraw your temper."

Silver seemed to have a hard time controlling his emotions. His chest rose and fell with intensity. His mind rolled with the words he'd just heard, slowly calming back down.

In a blink of an eye, an eye catching smile lit up his face. The coldness from before was all but gone. It was as if his uncontrollable emotions were all an illusion. A facade meant to play tricks on the mind.

"Rest assured. I won't. Crumbs are not filling enough."

Sheila too calmed down with his words. Regardless if he meant them or not, she swiped through her hair.

"I'll be happy if that's the truth. Eating you sounds revolting. Kuhron hearts aren't to my taste at all. Too tough, bitter with a dash of mold." Yet she began contemplating. "Though, perhaps, if I give it to Alicia, could she make it tasty?"

"Alicia can cook?" Silver seemed to have perked up as he smiled sweetly.

"That question is an insult. So are your manners."

"That good, huh? Perhaps I'll have Alicia cook for me."

"Alicia would never cook for you." Sheila glared at him in astonishment.

How shamelessly overconfident was this man to assume Alicia, the girl who rarely cooked for anyone but herself, even for Ash or Caelum, would agree to cook for him?

If anyone wanted to taste her cooking, they would first need to throw away their pride and become shameless foodies. Which admittedly more than half the house was. The Duke being the worst.

Alicia finally returned after sprinting throughout the estate. Most of the medical supplies weren't found in this section of the home. So she had to rush around to get them.

Once she entered the room she had to blink a few times. Both Sheila and the villain were glaring at each other, as if in the next second they'd fight.

Honestly she was not surprised. Sheila is a hard nut to crack. Equally she's not the easiest person to get along with. As for the villain, if what was written about him was correct, then Alicia believed he too wouldn't be any different.

She walked forward and began replacing Silver's bandages. Sheila had insisted on doing it herself for some reason but was blocked by Alicia. Knowing Sheila's temper, she refused to let her sister even touch him. What would she do if that crazy dragon ruins her plans?!

Alicia wasn't even willing to cast her bet let along contemplate the possibilities. She'd read too many books, too many scenarios where the world's fated plot was worse than a god who eternally damned pizza from existence.
