When I woke up next I was being pulled to the chair I was in before. They tied me up again and out a piece of cloth in my mouth and I kept my eyes shut. Someone punched my nose and I felt it start to bleed. Charlie shouted something and I opened my eyes. He wasn't there. He was looking at me through the tablet again. The man with one eye was laughing again. "I said that I would give you what you wanted so let her go." Charlie shouted, or something likes that.
"No. This girl is a spirit talker too isn't she. She's one of the most powerful. Her spirit animal is a tiger, her element is air and she never gets ill. She's been protected her whole life so she's never had to have a weapon. That's all about to change." He replied and turned the tablet off. They experimented on me again. Taking samples and injecting stuff into me. Babe was worried about me. I kept screaming in pain and telling them to stop. I hated it. But they wouldn't stop though. They chucked me into my room again and I sat up on the bed. It took all my strength to do just that. Babe was looking at me worried. "You're trying not to do something Babe, what's wrong?" I asked with a smile.
"I want to turn into my weapon form. I know I can do it, but what do you want me to do?" She asked.
"Just stay with me and be my best friend no matter what. Do you know who my parents are?" I asked.
"Not really, but I know that your mum was a spirit talker too and your dad had sworn to protect her no matter what." Babe said and I fell asleep. There was nothing there. There was only darkness around me. There must have been a reason for my parents giving me up. I had never thought about it before. I had always just excepted that my parents must not have wanted me. It was just easier then hoping they would come back and keep getting disappointed when they didn't. I don't think my heart could manage that. I don't think my body can take much more. Charlie, Alex please hurry up. Why can't I move now? Who are these people? How do Charlie and Alex know them? Why does having a tiger make me powerful? How did I get the strength to think of these questions? I can open my eyes, I think. "She's opening her eyes, it's working." I heard Alex say. I woke up and sat up. I looked at my body and I had scars all over my arms and legs. Nick was there and he had his hands just over my body and there was a dark green light coming from them. I was so confused now. I could go back to sleep, but that wouldn't help now. "Put these on quick." Alex said and gave me some clothes to put on. They both turned their backs on me whilst I got changed and I didn't have the energy to argue with them. Alex took my hand and pulled me out of the room. There were alarms going off everywhere and everything was flashing red and black. I heard screams and saw smoke. Charlie must be here. I stumbled and tripped over nothing. I fell to the ground and my legs refused to get back up. The one eyed scientist was laughing in front of us. He had his tablet with him. He always had that thing with him. "Dr. Young, I am really not surprised that you would do this, but to a spirit talker that's so heavily guarded, are you insane?" Alex said.
"Doesn't matter to me. She's powerful and she has been injected with a virus that allows me to make her legs stop working. Not even a healer like Nick can get rid of it." Dr. Young replied. He did something on his tablet and I screamed in pain. My legs started to hurt like they were being burned. I saw Babe look at me worried. "Babe, can you heal me and then go in to your weapon form. I'm ready if you are." I said. Babe nodded and healed me. I felt a surge of energy that helped me to stand up. When I was up I had a sword in my right hand. I looked at it and it was more like a Katana. I stood ready to fight. Armed men surrounded us and Charlie had managed to push past to join our little group. He looked at the Katana surprised. He had his gun out too. Babe guided me. Every attack she helped me to do. It was like she was next to me, helping me. I cleared a path and we ran out of the building. A car was there ready. Rosie and Cameron were in the front two seats. Charlie and Nick got into the back and I sat with Alex in the middle. When we were in the car I was exhausted. I felt like I had just ran a few marathons, one after the other. I laid down and rested my head on Alex's lap. He told me everything was ok now. I missed Alex not being there for me and I miss not having Alex to talk to. Maybe he would forgive me. I already forgave him.
