It had already been 1 month since the incidence and Xing were still in a coma. Though she was in deep slumber, she was able to hear 2 different voices. One was a well-known voice to her while the other was a new one.
In the VIP room no 7.
Fan visited Xing in the afternoon right after her flight landed in city B from the capital.
"Ms. Ling, you came back? Is everything alright with your work now? And Mr. tan returned to his home after he called you this morning." Asked and informed nurse Mu.
"Yes, nurse Mu, it was a small issue with a contract that we were eyeing for a long time, now that I have sorted the main issue, my brilliant works will be able to handle the rest. Thank you for taking care of Xing this past few days Nurse Mu. You can call it a day now and take rest nurse Mu."
"Thank you, Ms. Ling, then I will get-go."
While leaving Nurse Mu closed the door and Xing and Fan were alone in the hospital room.
Fan looked toward Xing solemnly and sat beside her bed.
"Xing aren't you taking a long rest huh? Did you forget about me and our father? If you dare to sleep like this for any longer, I will seriously burn you to death." Despite using foul words her eyes were stained with tears and were threatening to fall any movement.
"Xing, do you remember how we became friends?"
"Meeting you was really the best thing that ever happened in my life. Though I had a lot of friends. They were mainly "FRIENDS" with me due to my status and they wanted to make a connection with my family since I was little. That's the main reason why I came to city B but my status as Ling family daughter was more famous then I thought so I was surrounded by same type of people here also. I felt I was alone with no genuine friend."
It was a hot summer day while we were in grade 10. When I was passing through the cafeteria there, I saw you for the first time. That bit** along with her minions were bullying you and you were just silently listening to their mocks. At that time, I thought you were really pitiful and afraid and along with my grudge with Xin Sang my heroic instincts kicked in and I stepped up.
"Hah! What's fun in bullying the weak you all weaklings." Said Fan with a smirk in her face.
Listening to the voice the girl named Xin Sang and her friends turned.
"What's it had to do with you, little princess. Don't poke your nose in other's business," said Sang in an arrogant voice.
"Who are you calling a little princess you sl**" saying this Fan landed a slap in Sang's face and her face immediately swelled up. All students in the cafeteria acted as if they were not concerned with all of the drama and kept having their food.
"How dare you use your hand against me and that to this sudden." yelled Sang in an angry voice at the top of her lungs.
"Do I have to inform you before using my hand then take this." And another slap landed in Sang's other cheek.
She was the daughter of headteachers brother so she was always arrogant with other students and this was the reason why Fan hated her to the core as she felt that she was not eye-pleasing. Ah yes, our Fan is also unreasonable. hehe!
Sang always thought that even she behaved arrogantly she will not be in trouble as her own uncle was the headmaster and the students will not be able to make any complaints knowing the relation and till now no one ever made one either which boosted her confidence.
She used to bully the weak, beautiful, smart, intelligent, and wealthy girls of her class solely due to jealousy. Due to her many girls already transferred their school in the first 5 months.
After getting two slaps from Fan. Sang got scarred but to keep up the arrogant look she acted strong and said "You will regret treating me like this Ling Fan. I will make a complaint to my uncle about this behavior and will also say that this Xing girl bullied me along with you." And left the premise immediately.
"Ahh! I am sorry for creating more problems for you. Are you alright?" asked Fan looking towards Xing.
"It's alright. Thank you for helping me." Said Xing while nodding but with a clam face as if she was not bothered by the threat of Sang at all.
"Actually, you helped me and took care of that Sang girl. She was really irritating." Said Xing while smiling.
Though she didn't know Fan and this was their first meeting she strangely liked this girl as she stepped up for her.
"I am Ling Fan from class 10-2."
"And I am Tan Xing from class 10-1."
"Then friends?" asked Fan.
"No doubt" replied Xing. And they parted ways soon after as the next period was starting soon.
The next day they were summoned to the headmaster's office and they met in front of the office.
"That bit** really complained to headmaster. Sorry Xing I dragged you in this mess. If I haven't slapped her then things might not have escalated to this point. I am truly sorry Xing."
"Stop apologizing for the good deed you did Fan." Said Xing with a small smile in her face which mesmerized Fan and she thought that she was really beautiful.
After entering into the headmaster's office.
Fan was not afraid of any punishment if she was the only one who was called into the headmaster's office.
When Fan looked towards Xing was clam as if she was on the beach and was enjoying the sun. Then they heard the opening of the office door again and Xin Sang entered the room.
They stood in a straight line looking towards Headmaster's desk and waiting for him to start talking.
Though the headmaster loved and pampered Sang a lot and was also angry when he heard his nephew's complaint yesterday. He knew that his nephew was arrogant but he ignored that till now but yesterday she messed up with two of the important students in the school which made him angry with Sang for the first time.
While Sang was looking toward her uncle's expression she got the feeling that something bad will happen.
"Xin Sang from 10-3, Ling Fan form 10-2, and Tan Xing form 10-1, who will enlighten me what happened yesterday." Asked headmaster Xin in an authoritative voice.
"Big Uncle…." While Sang was talking in the middle she was interrupted by headmaster "You are in the office of a headmaster there is no blood relation in here only the relation between teacher and student will matters." In an angry tone
She was frightened by her uncle's tone and was in a dilemma what to do next but after looking toward Fan's face who was standing near her casually, she remembered the yesterday humiliation she faced in front of other students.
"Headmaster Xin, it's a fact that Ling Fan used violence against me in the cafeteria without any reason and caused me physical damaged." Said Sang while showing her slightly swollen cheeks.
"It's true that Fan slapped her but it was not without any reason as Ms. Xin said. She was bullying me in the cafeteria which was seen by Fan and she cammed to my rescue. While she was asking for the reason behind the bullying, she mocked Fan and provoked her which resulted in the violence." Said Xing in a clam tone and further continued
"Ms. Xin also boasted that she can do anything in this school premises mainly due to her blood ties with headmasters and use this to bully many other students of her class. I even don't know why Ms. Xin was bullying me in the first place as neither I am from her class nor we have any previous enmity. I even heard the rumor that she bullies the girls who are more intelligent and beautiful than herself which is in my thought is an absurd reason to bully anyone."
"And I will also further enlighten you that 4 girls from our class had already transferred to other schools due to this reason. I hope that this matter will be judged by headmaster without any biases and as this causes an unhealthy environment in the school and will disrupt the reputation of the school having the best environment." Ending her sentence, she left no place of argument for the other party and was also challenging headmaster to make decisions without any bias.
This made headmaster in a tight spot and Sang was not able to resort to anything told by Xing as all the allegations were true so, she stood there bowing her head and this action of her made her uncle flare in anger as it was also humiliating for him.
"If this is the truth then I shall announce the punishments." Said headmaster Xin and continued "Xin Sang from class 10-3 will be suspended from the school for 1 month and will only show up in final exams. Ling Fan used violence against other students in the school premises which is against the rule of school but as she had valid reasons, she will be suspended for 3 days. Tan Xing and Ling Fan can leave now."
After 3 months.
The new class started and Fan was able to transfer to Xing's class. They heard that Sang was scolded badly by her family for causing trouble in the school and was transferred to No-2 High-school.
"Hah! Xing, I am really proud of myself that I butted into the mess that day otherwise my whole life would have been dull." Said Fan in a rather serious tone which was rarely heard from Fan.
"You really are my backbone as you were the one who gave me the courage to fight for my dream though my parents were supportive, they felt that fashion designer was not good for Fan. And Xing was the one to woo her parent to let her pursue her dream of being a fashion designer. And also thank you for trusting me and also for investing all of your hard-earned money. That why I made you a 45% shareholder and also named the studio XL." Said Fan while being emotional then suddenly her mood changed after she remembered and started to gabble.
"Though the studio started to make a profit from the starting and has grown till now which made me really busy and instead of enjoying the fruits of my hard work you were working non-stop while studying for 2-2 degrees Huh! and to be frank that made me really angry but you refused to blend in with my wish to support you and just to focus on your study but I have to admit that it never hampered your study, you stupid Nerd." Said Fan in an annoyed tone after remembering the pile of money in Xing's bank account which was stocked since the first profit she made from the studio.
Meanwhile, Xing in her slumber felt that she was suffering from some kind of torture and had to listen to this endless gabbling. Then she again heard Fan's loud voice.
Xing do you remember that one guy I had crushed for the longest.... He is getting married this year with that bi**h Xin Sang... though I am already over him it stills makes me angry remembering that girl. She was soo f***ing annoying arghhhhh.
"Yeah she was I guesss...." said Xing in a low and hoarse voice.
"Yeah, how can the person I used to like marry such type of girl... I must have been blind to like him. he really lacks taste..." Then she suddenly snapped and looked toward Xing's face as if she has got the shock of life.
"What happed? What with that expression? Did you thought that some ghost answered you?" asked Xing in her hoarse voice in a mocking tone.
While her brain started to work again. Fan immediately hugged Xing.
"You little bi**h you scared the hell out of everyone and you have the audacity to smile in front of me." yelled Fan.
"Why are you shouting? Are you not happy that I woke up or should I just go back to deep sleep?" said Xing in a playful tone.
"Are you f***king kidding me??? I dare to say that again." Threaten Xing in a solemn tone while hugging her tighter.
"Ok I know I am sorry I ill spoked so please stop hugging so tight I am having difficulty in breathing." Said Xing acting as if she was grasping for breadth.
Fan panicked and asked her if she was alright while holding her hand.
"I am alright fan. I was just pulling your leg as I have never seen you so worried and serious before. I am sorry for making all of you worried. But where is dad?" asked Xing.
"Oh! He went home this morning as he was feeling unwell and was urged by me to rest at home. I should call him." Said fan after remembering to call Mr. Tan.
"Wait! Don't you think that you should call the doctor first." Said Xing in a teasing voice after seeing flustered Fan.
"ah... don't you dare make fun of me Xinggggggg." Though she was shouting she pressed the bottom beside Xing's bed to call the doctor.
