As far as I know, people are classified into two groups when they are drunk. The first one is the silent type which likely shows that you are probably too wasted to even react. The second one is the loud type which definitely the result of the booze inflating your ego and you can definitely wrestle with anyone.
I am the second one. Who knew? I started my own cheering squad praising my own name.
It took four monsters to alleviate my mana thirst. I spent more than two hours searching for them and I know this because every hour that I consume, Max sends this bell tone in my head.
It's not that I did not see any other monsters, as a matter of fact I saw plenty. Some are too strong for me to fight for now, and the others are too weak for me to get mana essence.
Additionally, for the duration of the hunt, I made it a habit to read some information from the handbook, which made Max really annoyed at first.
What else can he do but obey my wishes.
First thing, it seems that with all the effort that I did earlier, I am still on 87% progress on levelling up to Tier 1- High Class. Draining monsters like these is really not efficient. I better start planning dealing with a humanoid subject, a true demon or a human, whichever comes first.
The best I got so far is that when I am already a Tier 2-Low Class, I get to do a summoning my very first familiar. From the description, it's like a pet only that's it's loyal to me and very very dangerous to enemies, well depending on what I can summon. I will grow my second horn then too.
It seems that horns is the representation of a bonafide demon like crown to a royalty.
The next big thing is that I can eat the ones I hunted and there was a description on the handbook on how to dissect or butcher them and many ways to cook them. I don't know if it's a joke but on the last part is that I can eat them raw and use the remains as bait. I better prepare some fire now to get my very first meal in this world.
The problem now is for me to have resources since I needed to have some kind of a base of operations. I don't have a long term goal now, but for the most part getting out of the forest without being hunted by large and stronger monsters.
This leads me back to my necklace. Apparently, there is a unique way that this equipment of mine responds to monsters.
When there is a weak monster nearby, it vibrates only once.
When there is a monster in which I could probably defeat or a little bit stronger than me, then it vibrates at least three times.
When it vibrates multiple times, that's the time that I run and hope that the monster did not notice me yet.
In short, I have a necklace vibrator.

Although I have a little bit of supernatural strength, I don't have the skills to fight using hand to hand combat. So the next agenda is to get a weapon, a magical one.
So I looked it up on the handbook and felt relieved that the power level hierarchy is the same with a demon and humans.
There are four types of ways humans tend to fight.
First one is the arsenal type which includes any kind of Melee and mid range weapons. Swords, spears, halberd, knives and even shields. Combined with elemental magic it's the very basic fighting style.
Second one is the hybrid type combined also with elemental magic. From what I get it's just combination of two to three weapons.
The third one is the Ranger type and also combined with elemental magic. Throwing knives, bows and arrows are the typical equipment.
The last one is the Pure type. The name already explained itself so it's just pure magic combat without weapons.
The last thing that I got is that I am the only successful half-human that is existing right now. At least that is what the handbook can gather right now from basic knowledge.
So, the question still remains if I wanted to be a full fledged demon or find a way to become full human again.
I guess further information is needed before I can continue on.
Well, I just have to enjoy this sumptuous meal first before it gets cold. You can't think straight if you are hungry.

House of Ford
While Titan was busy having the best meal of his life, the head of the house Grey Ford is having a tough time making a decision.
In his work table, there are some poster about a bounty for an exploration. There is a newly discovered dungeon not far away from the village and the town lord is rallying up all the houses to send a few men as bodyguards. It seems the Town Lord's son, Arrhole, wanted clear the initial floors before new adventures come flocking from other towns.
"All muscle and shit for brains". That's the assessment Grey wanted to convey everytime he meets the fool.
Still, the House of Ford is a long time ally and the current town lord is a decent ruler for most of the time. He probably wanted his son to have some kind of bonds before passing the title as town lord.
As he was contemplating on the matter at hand, there was a man who entered the room.
"Father, are you busy?"
This is Garreth Ford, the adoptive son of Grey.
"No, not at all. Actually, you're timing is perfect as ever. I was hoping to speak to you and this maybe the time to do it. Please sit." (Grey)
"Thanks father. As you know, I have been training properly and I think that I have been a great son to you. I was hoping to get Serrena's hand in marriage, with your approval, of course." (Garreth)
