"That face... don't you think it's a little too average?" Kira sounded both dumbfounded and disappointed as she sees Jin's face. "I mean... it's well-detailed but compared to your race... I was expecting a little bit more..."
"Kira-sama, could you please be quiet, Jinvil-sama is having peace with his time. And I don't want you to be so rude towards him, the lord of this place." With clear menace, Ariel warns. She and her master had already started eating, and are having a quiet moment, but Kira is a distraction she cannot ignore. Usually, she would focus on her master, but she just cannot do that with Kira around.
"Please, Jinvil-sama has offered you to be his guess; act like one."
"Ugh..." Kira shrugs, ignoring Ariel and turning again towards Jin, which in turn, ignores her.
"Hey! Why are you ignoring me! I'm talking to you." Ever so the attention seeker she was, she calls to Jin.
While Ariel was having troubles, Jin is clearly having a great time with his food, evident with the carefree expression on his face. It seems that he just couldn't be troubled by Kira, or by Ariel, who is looking dead-eyes at Kira. He ignores both of them and decided to just keep quiet.
It was only then when he sipped his drink that he replied, "What are you talking about? This body and face is an input; there's no way it would look good. Well, it's decent enough... at least that's what the others say about it." Although it seemed as if he was not paying attention, he had heard all the bad things Kira has said about his appearance, and he retorted.
"You mean...?" Kira looked at him with confusion. Of course, she understood what he meant, but her mind has one question, why would he input his RL appearance into the game?
Normally, players would create their own custom-made avatars to look good as possible. She hasn't met a single player yet, who has taken their real appearance into the game, all except now. There, in front of her was Jin, who has an average appearance of a normal person. The only thing that differentiates him from humans was the halo that was floating above his head.
Nevertheless, once her mind got accustomed to his appearance, a glimpse of amazement has appeared in her eyes. Somewhere in her mind, she had expected that he would look like that, and she was a little glad.
Looking at her, Jin gestures her to eat. He made the same gesture he always does when he commands someone, but she got the idea. So, she took off the mask that was covering her entire head to reveal her face as well.
Jin didn't have a reaction to her at all, obviously, because her appearance was like any other in the game, a beautiful being, almost perfected.
"It was auto-generated..." She murmurs. It's not like Jin had asked, she just felt that she should say that now. Maybe because she thought that Jin has nothing to hide, in which she felt ashamed if she would not do the same.
"Ohho~ I was expecting to see a brat, too." Jin jokingly said as he stares at the beautiful lady in front of him. Unlike him, all details about her face were unique.
Kira has long and beautiful purple hair, that once revealed, travels down her waist. The proportion of her face was extremely detailed, and it can only be described as alluring. Her hair and face complement each other, and that's also the same for her demonic pupils and the horns that are protruding from her head. It was clear that she was a demon - just not the kind of demon that would appear on everyone's heads.
"I was expecting to see a brat." There was a reason why Jin has said that. Among all of the members of the 54 Guardians, Kira was the youngest. Apparent from the way she acts, she was only 15 when he first met her. That's the same reason why he treated her like his younger sister. And as far as his concerns, he would always treat her as such.
"Anyway, you can eat."
"Umm... umu..." Kira nodded, silently eating after.
The day have passed before they knew. Ariel leaves and Jin and Kira were left in the needlessly large and extravagant room. Then, the night came. With nothing to do, they tested the console that Jin had. It worked perfectly fine.
