Chapter 8 - Money, Money, Money!

Indecision will invariably end up causing trouble!

Zhou Qingfeng truly had no time to waste to persuade and argue with Angie. He could only push matters regarding Angie aside for now. He turned his head and said to Lena, "Let's go, we'll make it quick."

Angie was even more exasperated when she saw Zhou Qingfeng actually turn his back on her and leave with the prostitute. She took a big shot of whiskey and coughed vigorously after choking on the strong alcohol. Sitting next to her, Cooper immediately hinted at the bartender with his eyes, motioning him to serve the chick with something extra added to her alcohol.

Zhou Qingfeng temporarily left Angie behind and followed Lena to the second-floor basement. There was no loud music on the second floor. However, the yelling from the casino still sounded piercing to his ears.

The rooms of the bar bouncers and the rooms where the prostitutes served their customers were in the same corridor. Lena took Zhou Qingfeng's hand and led him inside. As soon as he entered the corridor, he saw many people having intercourse in different rooms. Many of them had not bothered closing the doors as they enjoyed being watched.

In the corridor stood a bouncer who specifically watched over the prostitutes. He was a lean Jamaican man. He was leaning against the wall and was yawning in boredom. When he saw Zhou Qingfeng walk in, his mouth twitched. Nevertheless, he said, "Room six is empty, you can go in and have some fun in there."

"He wants something unconventional. You need to give us room eight." Lena took Zhou Qingfeng's hand and continued to move further down the corridor. Room eight was a room for sadomasochistic people. The room was equipped with many special toys and props that only perverts loved.

Upon hearing that Zhou Qingfeng was interested in sadomasochism, the lean Jamaican bouncer sized him up a few more times and teased, "You better not abuse this b*tch to death or our boss will be pissed."

"Don't you worry about that," Zhou Qingfeng said full of swag, led Lena into room eight, closed the door behind them, and locked the door from the inside.

After entering the room, Lena stripped off her seductive side. She dashed to the side of the bed and said to Zhou Qingfeng, "C'mon, move the bed."

In the film, when David Lawrence came looking for trouble with the Potaski brothers, he had a pistol with him when he charged inside. However, Zhou Qingheng did not have the guts to do the same. He could not even unlock the Potaski brothers' room.

However, he could resort to other means even if he could not unlock the door to their room. The rooms in the underground bar were simply separated by wooden planks. Room eight was right next to the Potaski brothers' room. As long as he could remove the wooden planks, he could break straight in.

After pushing away the bed that was blocking the wall, Zhou Qingfeng fished out a crowbar from his clothes and ledged it into the wooden wall. With a muffled bang, he inserted the crowbar into a gap between the wall of wooden planks and pried it hard. With enough force, he managed to pry out a wooden plank along with its nails.

While Zhou Qingfeng continued to pry, Lena was in charge of moaning loudly to cover up the noise as he worked. Seeing how effortlessly Zhou Qingfeng was able to pry away the wooden planks, she leaped and bounced on the bed in excitement, screaming even louder.

"Oh, lord! Please don't do this.

"Ah… Please stop punishing me.

"Master, go easy on me. You're hurting me."

Lena screamed in disguise, constantly clapping her hands and making it sound like a whip was being lashed. Nevertheless, in actual fact, she was overjoyed; it was something rare for her. Seeing how Zhou Qingfeng had succeeded in making a huge hole in the wooden wall in less than a minute, she whispered a few words from time to time between her screams to him, "Hurry up, hurry up, you're doing great!"

Ordinary American homes adopted wooden planks as main building materials. That was because they were easy to use when it came to building and demolishing. After tearing away two layers of wooden planks, Zhou Qingfeng turned sideways and squeezed his way into the adjacent room.

The room was pitch dark, but Zhou Qingfeng dared not turn on the lights. Instead, he used Lena's mobile phone as a flashlight. After mapping out a clearer layout of the room, he tried his best to recall the scenes he had seen in the film.

"It should be behind a wooden wall that can be opened easily." Zhou Qingfeng stopped in front of a closet and moved the thick wooden closet away with all his might. Behind it, a movable wall panel with clear patterns was revealed.

He opened up the wall panel. Everything was exactly the same as the scene in the film. Inside of it was a safe. In order to open this safe, David Lawrence had tortured the Potaski brothers into telling him the password. Zhou Qingfeng could distinctly remember the password. After opening up the safe and extending his hands inside, the first thing he grabbed was not money—it was a pistol.

The pistol was a Colt M1911A1 model, a classic that had been designed by a gun master, Browning, over a hundred years ago. Due to its large rounds and great firing power, the Chinese called it the Big Eye Pistol during the war.

The Colt M1911A1 was slightly heavy. Nevertheless, Zhou Qingfeng thrust it inside his belt buckle and proceeded to take out a magazine along with a box of .45 caliber bullets. The last thing he grabbed was the rolls of cash.

With the cash in his hands, he had nothing to fear!

The big rolls were worth ten thousand U.S. dollars each, while the small rolls were worth a thousand U.S. dollars each. Zhou Qingfeng went back and forth more than ten times before he finally managed to empty the safe. After a rough estimation, there had been seven to eighty thousand dollars of cash in the safe.

"Awesome! This is so awesome!" Zhou Qingfeng was so happy that he nearly cheered aloud. Thanks to the Potaski brother's good habits, the large sum of cash they had saved from the profit they earned from various deals in the black market had now been pocketed by Zhou Qingfeng.

Ha ha ha…! With the amount of money, Zhou Qingfeng could now execute his plan calmly. It would greatly increase his chances of survival when the cataclysm broke out.

After stashing the cash in a small bag, Zhou Qingfeng turned around and left, returning to room eight through the huge hole he had made. At that moment, Lena was still screaming hard. Upon seeing the smile on Zhou Qingfeng's face, she began to smile with anticipation as well.

"Here's your twenty thousand bucks. Thanks for helping me." Zhou Qingfeng handed over two large rolls of U.S. dollars to Lena. "Also, I found this inside. You might need it."

When Lena received the twenty thousand U.S. dollars, she could not stop kissing the green bills happily. She incessantly began to cry internally, "I love Franklin. I love Franklin to death." However, when she saw the item Zhou Qingfeng was trying to hand over to her, she was so taken aback that she was stunned speechless.

"That's… my passport." Lena took her passport from Zhou Qingfeng's hand. Flipping through the pages of her passport, tears began to roll down her cheeks uncontrollably. She raised her head and peered at Zhou Qingfeng's eyes, She threw herself at him and gave him a bear hug. "Thank you. Thank you so much for saving my life. You don't know how much I wanted to escape this place. Now that I have my passport with me, I can finally go home now."

Lena was a Bulgarian who had been smuggled into the United States by a smuggler. Her passport had been hidden by the Potaski brothers, causing her to lose her identity completely. Her efforts were always futile even though she wished to go home. Hence, she was forced to spend her days in darkness.

"There are a few more passports that belong to other ladies here, maybe you can return them to their owners. Okay, don't get too excited now. We still need to escape. We can't say our mission is a complete success yet." Zhou Qingfeng patted Lena's back, trying to ease her emotions.

"Right, right. We need to get out of here." Lena put the money and her passport inside the tiny bag that she carried with her all the time. She wiped her tears away, fixed her appearance, and tidied up her clothes. She asked, "How do I look?"

"Stunning. Now put on a calm front and get that idiot in here!" Zhou Qingfeng fished out the pistol from his waist buckle, cocked it back, and then loaded it. He switched off its safety, walked to the back of the door, and nodded gently.

Lena drew a deep breath, opened the door, and beckoned at the Jamaican bouncer, shouting, "Hey! Come over here. There's something wrong with this kid. Come and take a look at him."
