As were falling down the infinite abyss that is this portal it seems as if were falling for an eternity. Before suddenly the portal disappears and we fall into a town square relatively unharmed but with a few scratches here and there.
As we get up everyone in the square only now notices us as if we didnt just fall from the sky in front of them, confused i walk up to someone and ask them if they saw something fall from the sky the vender looks at me and simply replys with what do you mean nothing fell are you ok young ones if you need rest i know an inn up the street i can take you i know the owner.
Not knowing how to respond David buts in and says thank you will take you up on the offer I look at David and thank him as the vender leads us up the street of this foreign town.
Still dazed i look at the pendent neckless that the with curiosity questions flud my head as im trying to figure out what happened as I look at the pendent you can see the shape of fox as I piece together what happened as I try to figure out why this fox would come with me as a necklace of all things I get to caught up in my thoughts as I bump into Jillian on accident not noticing we've stoped the vender walks us inside and looks at the inn keep and they start chatting before he signals us over to the counter the inn keep looks at me for a second and asks your not from around her are you.
I pause and respond with a yes were quiet new to this town the inn keep laughs and says i can tell when adventures like yourselves our just starting out no real clue what your doing but everyone needs to start out somewhere but enough about that how can i help you.David speaks up and asks can we get two rooms one with a single bed the other with three the inn keeper responds ah dont want to sleep with the ladies huh.
David blushes but contuines and asks if the keeper has anything the inn keep responds with i do infact have soom rooms but do you have the money to afford it.
We all look down and and i say unfortunately we have no money the inn keeper looks at us and says well i cat have you stay for free how about the fox pendent on your neckless as he points at me i say to him the neckless aint for sale even tho i have no clue if its good to hold onto it or not.
He eyes me and shrugs well i cant have you stay in the rain ill give you kids the rooms but when you guys get all famous and known world wide for your dungeon abilitys dont forget your humble beginings i almost ask him what does he mean by dungeon abilitys but i hold my tongue and take him up on his nice offer.
As i sit down on the bed i look at the pendent and as the night grows darker and the moon grows higher in the night sky i feel the pull of night calling me as i walk outside the pendent glows under the full moon and as it glows brighter the light blinds me as the fox appears once again from before as i look up it speaks to me and says this world is different from your own it may seem nice and calm now but unlike your world this one holds many dangers.
you do not know me but I'm here to make sure you and your friends are safe when i saw you I had no idea that ide be transformed into this and that ide be assigned to guard you but fate works it magic in mysterious ways and so ill do my best to keep you safe but this requires you to do your part as well young one.
I ask the fox where we are and she tells me this world is know as ourm this world is home to monsters your world earth whould call ledgends myths and other names of the sorts but here they are very much real. I ask her what are these dungeon conquerors the inn keeper was talking about. the fox responds with in order to keep this world safe its inhabitants learn magic and other skills to hold back these monsters from takeing over that is the dungeon conquerors task and if you and your friends want to survive i sugest finding teachers of magic and teachers of mystic fighting arts to help you stand a chance against the dangers of this world she then points at the neckless she turned into and says when im in my pendent state i become whats known as a sacred item i grant you protection and speed along with an affinity for ice magic but im not all powerful therefore you must train and your friends and also form a party gather allies and beat this worlds king of monsters if you ever want the chance to go home.
I look at the fox in amazement of what ive heard and before i can ask anymore the sun starts to rise and the fox says ill always be with you but the sun is rising so i must go but if you need to contact me mediate in silence to access your pendent or wait for the moon to rise.
as if she had never been there to begin with the fox turn back into a pendent and the pendent reattaches itself to the neckless. I walk back inside as David,Jillian and Natalie wake up i relay the info the fox told me to them and they understand what must be done.
as we go down stairs we ask the inn keep where can we sign up to be dungeon conquerors he points us to the adventures guild in the center of town and we walk with a new determination we know that this world may try to stop us and slow us down but we will succeed.
