Chapter 1 - Music is Peace

I walk through the field of flowers that seem to be everlasting. Beautiful roses, tulips, and sunflowers are all I see as walk towards the end of the seemingly endless field. I hear... music, calming me and putting me at ease. I have the feeling of peace. Then everything changes. I'm free-falling, scared for my life. As I desperately try to grab something, anything, I fail. I hear music, still the calming, peaceful tones and harmonies, reminding me of everything I love, as I'm falling.

I hit the ground and wake up on contact.

As I listen to my favorite band, I silently start my morning process. Decent outfit, check. Decent hairdo, check. Bacon, eggs, toast breakfast, check. Teeth brushed and backpack ready, check.

Quiet calamity starts to ensue around me.

I watch as my twin brothers, Darren and Damian start to destroy the kitchen, just for a bowl of cereal, whilst making as much as humanly possible. Which is crazy considering my entire process took 15 minutes with no noise, theirs taking 5 minutes of mass commotion. By the time my parents are up, I'm leaving out with my lunch money in pocket. As I head out the one person more organized than me, who is also my best friend, Joshua meets me outside and we walk to school.

Hi, I'm Hanna Williamson and this is the story of my death.

School was a lot to handle to say the least. Being a new " hot girl" at my new school after transferring over the summer. Not only my schools changed, but my style and looks did too. Me and Joshua's relationship though is totally different than what you're thinking of though, we're actually totally normal. And that is why I'm bullied. Guys are attracted to me, that i obviously reject, but because a boy asks me out every two to three weeks I'm naturally a "slut", "whore", "gold digger", just because I do the opposite of what those type of people would do.

My life doesn't suck right now, but I'm telling you, it gets worse.

As I plug I'm my headphones on the way to class to block out the noise, and any snarky comments, I still manage to hear, "Stuck up bitch", "dumb whore", and all the rest their limited vocabulary can let them say, Joshua tells me that I missed my class a while ago and I'm might be late. So I use my full athletic sprint to race back to first period with my favorite teacher, Mr. Johnson. He teaches two subjects, Advanced Algebra and Bilingual and Foreign Culture Studies, one of my favorite electives. Just as sit down Mr.J comes in as the bell rings, takes attendance, and starts class.
