'I f****d up.'
Wanda thought as she offered a hand to the mage giving her a confused stare.
'I can't believe I attacked a member of the Amberston family. They OWN this town.'
'Don't panic. Don't panic. Would you shut up!? Of course, I'm panicking!'
Wanda yelled at herself, mentally.
'I can't afford to move! I need this job!'
'Calm down just breathe. Breathe. Breathe.'
She thought as she hyperventilated through her leaves.

Grant looked at the woman who seemed to be falling apart.
Still completely confused over what just happened, slowly rose with the support of the wall behind him.
The woman seemed to get even worse from that action. He could see various parts of her 'skin' opening and closing like gills rapidly.
The only problem was that these spots were all over her body so her clothes would suddenly puff whenever they opened.
Afraid of death by exploding shopkeeper, Grant quickly grabbed her hand.
"No trouble! No trouble at all! I'm sorry for causing YOU trouble!"
He said desperately while shaking it.
"I could never be troubled by you, sir!"
She said as she started shaking faster.
"In fact! I'm sorry for not recognizing your greatness sooner!"
"Nonsense! Your accomplishments speak for themselves! I can't possibly imagine how someone could run such a prominent business and have time to train as well!"
Grant said as he struggled to move his burning arm.
"You are an inspiration!"
"I could never be as inspiring as you, sir!"
She yelled with all of her leaves flapping at full speed.
"Speaking of which, what inspired you to visit my shop?!"
"Why, I am in need of some wyvern's bane and other assorted herb's!"
He yelled while pulling out a list he'd noted down earlier with his free hand.
"The wyvern's bane, especially! It was requested by the patriarch!"
Wanda's internal voice was screaming in agony.
"OH, THE PATRIARCH! YOU DON'T SAY!? I'LL GET RIGHT ON IT! ONE MOMENT!"
She said as she quickly fled to the back room.
"TAKE YOUR TIME!"
Grant called out and waved with his burning hand.
They both breathed a sigh of relief as soon as they were alone.
Which was promptly followed by Grant swearing and clutching his arm in pain.
Meanwhile, the plant dog came stumbling out from the wreckage that buried it.
It managed to get its bearings after a few seconds and decided to head directly to Grant.
Padding through the shelves, it came directly in front of Grant and sat down with a thump.
Grant instantly jerked his head towards the sound and froze.
"Arf!"
Grant carefully shuffled into another isle of shelves with his eyes never leaving the dog as it sat there.
After seeing that the dog didn't follow him, he relaxed.
'But just in case...'
He went over to the back of the store and saw the mess he made.
'Maybe I should do something about this.'
He thought as he rubbed the back his head guiltily.

'THE PATRIARCH! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?'
"Oh, I am dead. I'm dead. I'm dead. I am so dead."
She said as she frantically searched through every corner of the room.
"I threatened someone under the orders of the patriarch. I'm gonna have to leave town!"
She said as she found some dried dragon's bane and packaged it.
"I know! I'll give him the order and while he's going back, I'll grab as much as I can carry and use that train voucher I won back then."
"It's foolproof! I didn't sense any communication crystal on him, and the voucher is untraceable."
She said while walking towards the door.
"I'll just give him his order and get out quick and simple. Yeah, yeah. Yeah! Let's do this!"
She said while facing the door, and opened it.
She saw Grant placing what should have been torn bags of manure onto what should have been broken shelves.
He turned and said nervously, "Ah, you're back."
"I just thought that I should clean up since it's my mess, to begin with."
...
"I didn't mean to cause any trouble, really."
He said, sounding a bit more nervous.
...
"The dog just startled me, I'm sorry."
...
"Magic is real handy, isn't it. Heh-heh."
He coughed awkwardly into the back of his hand.
"The herb's?"
That finally snapped Wanda out of it.
"Right, here's the herbs."
"Yes, thank you."
She quickly gave a sigh of relief and hurried to the back room when-
"Wait a moment."
She froze.
"I'm really sorry about this..."
'Sorry? Sorry about what?!'
"...and I'm sure we'd both rather leave..."
'Yes, immensely. Please do!'
"...But the patriarch needs wyvern's bane, not dragon's bane."
That was when her brain went on autopilot.
"We don't sell wyvern's bane, we're out!"
She said in a cheerful tone.
Grant shrank down sheepishly and placed a piece of crystal on the counter.
"I'm so sorry about this, but..."
She picked up the crystal from the table ran some mana through. The crystal was an advert that proclaimed that they could get you any herb in the city, no matter what. It even offered to personally have the owner visit every store in the city until it was found.
It was from her raffle during the store's grand opening.
"...The patriarch needs this herb."
Wanda started speaking in an unnaturally happy tone again.
"Well let's just see that expiration date shall we."
