"All right, I am feeling much better now. How about we go outside and continue our bet?"
I don't know why, but for some reason, Juan seems confident.
"Ok! Let's do this!" I replied.
With a big smile on his face, he said, "Good! I know for a fact that I am going to win this one. I just hope that you have that drinking money ready."
We both went outside and as I stood on the porch while taking a deep breath, I realized that there are a lot of scents flying around, but that is not all I smelled. Around the house was an incredible scent of my cologne coming in all directions.
That asshole!
"That's not fair! You are trying to deceive me by placing the cologne scent everywhere! That wasn't part of the deal!"
Juan laughed overconfident, "Then what was the deal?"
"You were going to throw it somewhere while I was out here! Not contaminate the whole area with my cologne!"
Now I understood why he seemed so damn confident! There is no doubt that he planned the whole thing out when Wes told him about me not being able to use my abilities and used this chance to try and get free drinks out of me! I will show him!
"Think of it this way, those drinks are payback for me taking that beating from Wes. Hurry up and lose so I could get wasted already."
Someone is salty about that.
"Listen fucker, I don't want to go through with this bet anymore now that I know you went out of your way to make sure that I will lose."
Juan had a grin on his face and said, "You already said that you were going to do this bet when we were inside earlier, remember? So that means that if you decide not to do this, I win, and you will still have to buy me drinks."
"To hell with you!"
Juan and I started to fight amongst ourselves and I didn't notice that Bryanna was standing next to me.
"What are you two fighting about now?" Bryanna asked me.
We suddenly stopped our bickering to look at her, "When the hell did you get here?!" I asked.
"Just a little while ago. I actually came to see if I can copy the notes that I missed in class the other day."
Oh yeah. I had forgotten that she missed mothers' lecture, "I have the notes in my room. You can copy them whenever you like, and what's with the red gym bag?"
"I was going to ask if it was okay if I could take a bath here if it wasn't too much trouble with you and Wes that is."
"It's fine," I replied. If this were my parents' house, she would not need to ask, just jump right in. I turned to look at Juan who was staring at Bryanna lustfully and told him, "Don't you go anywhere! We are not done yet! And quit checking out Bree with those googly eyes. You are making it too obvious."
Bryanna followed me inside, "You can use the bathroom that is down the hall from my room." I pointed down the hall in front of the restroom, "That is my room right there, if you want to go and chill in there after you are done taking a shower, you are more than welcome to and while you are at it you can copy my notes. If you feel awkward about being in here by yourself, you are more than welcome to join Juan and me outside."
"Thanks." With that, she walked inside the restroom, and I headed back outside.
As I stood there on the porch, I noticed that Juan was gone without a trace.
Where the hell could he have gone off to?!
After waiting for a while and Juan never showed back up, I decided to head back inside to find Wes sitting in the living room.
"Who is taking a shower? I smell a girly fragrance filling this room." Wes asked.
"Sorry about that. I should have told you that Bryanna was here, and she asked if she could take a shower here. I hope that was okay and you aren't too mad about it."
Wes had a smirk on his face, "Do you want to take a quick peep?"
"No!"
I was only lying to myself; I know I do.
Wes just laughs.
"By the way, have you seen Juan? I can't find him anywhere. He was supposed to be outside teaching me how to use my abilities."
Wes crossed his arms, "You know what, I haven't seen him since I gave him that beating earlier today." He paused for a moment to think. "Look he is right there!"
Wes was pointing at the window and Juan was standing behind it looking in.
He tapped on the window and gestured for me to come outside.
"Where the hell were you?! I told you not to go anywhere."
"I came to a realization about what you said earlier, and I am sorry. I was trying to deceive you. So, I decided to keep the cologne scent in the same area and hide something else."
"What did you hide?"
"When you came outside, I went inside to look for something else and I asked your friend if I could use something of hers that you can use to find."
My jaw dropped when he said that and I raised my voice at him, "You told Bryanna that I was a werewolf in training?!"
"No! I just told her that it's an experiment that you are doing that Wes taught you."
I felt relieved when he said that. I could not believe that he was able to convince Bryanna so easily.
Juan broke my train of thought, "So will you do this new deal with something that belongs to your friend?"
"I'm in!" I yelled.
"Okay, then. Begin!
I didn't move an inch from where I was for a moment.
"What's wrong? I told you that you can begin."
"I know, I'm just trying to figure out how to approach this."
Juan smiled and said, "Take your time. It doesn't matter what you do because you will still lose."
I ignored him and I felt like I was at a disadvantage because I didn't know Bree's scent.
Wait! That's it!
"Wait right here, I will be right back."
I stepped back inside the house and went to my room to find Bryanna still in her bath towel with her back turned towards me putting on makeup. It was strange for me to see her using girl products like that, but then again, all girls do want to feel pretty every once in a while. I walked up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist to pull her in.
"What are you doing?!" She said shocked.
I placed my nose on the left side of her neck, "Sniff, sniff"
Her body odor… has a beautiful scent to it, and it is almost intoxicating I didn't want to let go. "You smell beautiful."
"What did you say?!"
I forced myself to back off and made my way out the door when she called out to me.
"Wait! What was that about?!"
When I turned to see her, she was blushing, but why?
"Training that Juan is having me do. I'll be back, you were a tremendous help. Thanks." And I gave her a thumbs-up.
"I don't know what you are doing or what this is abou-"
Her towel drops before she could even finish her sentence and I got a full view. I ran out of there before she noticed that I saw anything.
"Where did you go?" asked Juan.
"Don't worry about it. I went to get inspired."
I made my way to the woods on the east side of Wes's house. I passed up the tall grass and kept following Bryanna's scent. I started to see the fumes again and it was a white to yellowish color.
This has to be Bryanna's scent!
The fumes led me to a tree and the scent was coming from a branch above.
"I found you!" I shouted, "Juan's not getting those free drinks anymore!"
I jumped in the air to grab it not caring or looking at what it was.
"Juan! I found it!"
He came running to where I was, and Bryanna was alongside him.
Juan tried to contain his laughter, "Did you even see what it was?"
I looked at my right hand and opened it up, and what I had held onto so tightly. I was confused for a moment and had to come in for a closer look to make sure that I was seeing what I was seeing.
"What the?!" I had both hands stretching out a thin cloth material, "Are these?!" I started to sweat uncontrollably.
I stared back at Juan and Bryanna who had turned red and yelled at me, "Those are mine! Give them back!"
In my hand, I held a piece of black clothing, and they were Bryanna's panties… Am I in danger?
This prize is better than any ability that Juan was going to show me! I definitely won!
"Paul!!! Give me back my pantiiieeees! Stop running!" She shouted tearfully.
"No way! You have to catch me if you want them back." I said teasing her.
"Why won't you give them back?!"
"Juan was the one who hide them and said I could have anything I wanted!"
Bryanna stopped chasing me and ran over to Juan and started to beat him, "Stop iiittt! This is the second time today!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
