Chapter 1 - Goodbye

At an orphanage in Mexico:

A young boy was surrounded by four boys around the same age, fighting his own against all five of them. The boy in the center of the pack, Hazel, seemed to be the target of all the other boys. He was skinny with branchy limbs while his blue eyes were filled with fierce determination. His black hair whooshed as he ducked and punched one of the boys in the gut as he heard a helicopter in the distance.

The irascible children were here because they were all kidnapped, but had no other place to go with no ways of finding their lost relatives.

Hazel, the main target of the pack of children, was approximately one foot taller than the other boys. He measured four feet five inches tall at only five years old. However, even though he was large for his age, he was getting pushed back against the four other small boys who surrounded him.

'It was probably some family coming to the orphanage to pick up one of the other boys,' Hazel thought as he got back into his fighting stance, raising his left arm to protect his face.

Hazel had been unlucky since his third birthday when he got kidnapped. Unfortunately, he was in Mexico ever since as he couldn't remember his family history, nor how he was raised. All he had was the strong, burning urge to viciously defeat and smite these other boys who gathered against him. The only problem was he was too weak, too powerless, against four other kids who were around his own age.

Bobby, the boy he punched, picked up a rock as Hazel dodged and ducked from a blow to his temple. He leaned down and curved a right hook at the other boy's chest as his opponent cried out, his mouth bursting open.

The children appeared to be play-fighting to the adults in the area, but that all changed when Bobby put that rock in his hands. They started to pay attention to the escalating fracas as one of the adults, a man named Jorge, walked over to Hazel and screamed out his name when they couldn't ignore the fight anymore.

'This little brat couldn't make friends no matter what,' Jorge thought. It was like something about his hair, or his perfect features, that made other boys resent him.

"Hazel, stop!" Jorge screamed out.

"Stop it! You won." Jorge held out his hand to Hazel who was badly bruised.

"They-they attacked me first!" Hazel complained and slapped away Jorge's hand.

"Bobby started it!"

"Bobby… Did you start it?" Jorge turned towards Bobby.

"Loser!" Bobby picked up the rock and slammed it towards Hazel's face. Hazel turned and tried to block it with his arms raised into a cross to defend himself.

Unfortunately, Hazel wasn't fast enough and got smashed in the head, causing blood to spill and drip onto the floor.

His body couldn't take the hit as he instantly fainted while Jorge ran over and slapped Bobby in the side of the head.

"Run for it!" The three other kids, feeling that they were going to get in trouble, turned tail to run away from Bobby and Hazel. However, a small girl in the background with tears welled up in her innocent blue eyes ran over to Hazel. Her gleaming black hair swished with the rush of the wind as she tried to shake Hazel awake, afraid that he was dead.

She didn't hesitate to pull out her only napkin - the one remaining piece of her lost family to help the broken boy in front of her.

She began to carefully wipe Hazel's face with a handkerchief as her face scrunched up with concern. All the times he protected her fueled her every motion. He was the only one with aheart in the entire orphanage.

Bobby got smacked over and over again in the face by Jorge as his lips trembled with bitter resentment.

'You brat! This boy's parents are coming!" Jorge's voice raised as he continued to assail him,

"Do you know who his parents are?!"

"Do you know how much they are donating because we found him?" Jorge said and slapped

Bobby again with a vitriolic tone,

"You-you little shit! I'm going to throw you in a kennel and leave you there if he's dead!"

Jorge turned around to smile as a rich couple walked over to him. Expectations and excitement were present on their faces as they finally found their son Hazel after years of searching for him. The private investigators, the flights across the globe, and even the entire murder of a kidnapping association was not enough to find him.

They instantly had a look of outrage when they found Hazel bleeding on the floor. Their boy was lying on the floor and the father in his black suit with black hair and Hazel's eyes instantly pulled out a gun.

His mother who possessed typical blonde hair and blue eyes which suited her gorgeous white gown with pearls that sparkled under her beret glanced at Jorge with silent pressure. She tapped her high heels to show her lack of patience that appeared to be waiting for a good explanation.

Hazel's father walked over to Jorge and put the gun against his head with his eyes fuming with rage.

"My fucking son! What the fuck is this? I donated 5 million dollars to this place!"

"We're sorry… They were fighting. They are kids, you know?" Jorge waved with the denial of the boys unfairly ganging up on him.

"My son isn't a kid… He's a fucking born billionare!" His father held the trigger and struggled to put it down.

"You mother fucker! I should kill your entire family!" He screamed with a wave of fury.

"Stop it!" His wife grabbed his arm.

"Don't shoot. You-you're rich now. You have me now." She swung his arms while flirting in attempts to calm him down.

"Our son better be okay. If he doesn't recover by tomorrow, I will be buying this property…Give me my son! How I missed him."

"We-we really sorry. He's a strong one, and he usually wins in fights." Jorge bowed and put his head to the floor.

"Please, fire me. Don't get rid of this place." Jorge placed his head against the father's knees like a pleading animal.

"Jorge, was it?" His father put the gun against Jorge's head and put his finger against the trigger.

"Good bye."

The little girl who was frozen in fear covered her ears from the loud sound of the gunshot as she ran back into the building of the orphanage.
