"You have a scar here, I wanted to kiss it." He mumbled and did as he said.
She could only stay silent in surprise.
She herself had forgotten it existed, more like she had promised herself to erase it from her memories.
It was the first injury she ever had. She could vividly imagine the disappointed expression on her father's face that day. She had never failed except that one time.
Noticing her gloomy mood he placed his chin on her shoulder and kissed her cheek. "I'm sorry for remaining you fo something sad. I won't ask you to tell me, but tell me what I can do to help. I don't like such expression on your face." he said almost whispering because of how low and gentle his voice was.
His genuine care for her was enough to soothe her heart. She turned around and wrapped her hands on his waist. "There is something you can do for me." She bit her lip holding back a grin.
"Oh, what could that be?"
