"Wait here. I'll go talk to her, and then we can head back home." Genesis sighed when they entered the base near the beachside. "Mmm, I'll be waiting." He kissed her cheek and let her leave. He patiently waited inside the car like the good 'husband' he is.

"Jess…." Genesis called out and she turned on the lights of the hallway. She entered the next room where the lights were already on. Jess was sitting in one of the bean bags nervously.
Jess turned around and pursed her lips. Genesis swallowed and she sat next to her. (She had already changed into some comfortable clothes at this point.)
"What did she tell you?" Genesis asked carefully. "She said that I'm her daughter who she was forced to abandon in an orphanage by her husband. A daughter she could not raise because it's a 'she.'" Jess responded clenching to the side of the chair.
"Is it true?"
