Shouko quickened her steps as she quietly walked to where the commotion was. Old Toshio and a few maids were together with the woman. Their expression tensed as the woman continued acting haughty.
"I came here especially to see my son," The woman lowered the raised volume earlier, her eyes narrowed as she looked at Old Toshio and the maids in front of her. "Why should a mother be treated like this? I need him to make this clear to me."
The woman flung a set of documents to the ground. The papers scattered around them, a few of them got blown by the wind.
"Madam Yamashita, an outsider couldn't come in here," Old Toshio relaxed his knitted brows. He spoke in a calm manner without being bothered by the woman's darkened gaze. "Earlier, the newly-hired bodyguard allowed you in. I'm sorry for his mistake. You could go back now."
