The next morning came. Time continued to flow by yet Shouko was still burdened by her thoughts. She wasn't as lively as usual as she lied listlessly on the bed. Somehow, her body still felt tired even after hours of sleep.
Without having to say anything, it was not a night of good and peaceful sleep.
"Stay in bed," Kyoya walked out of the wardrobe, striding toward the bed. His deft fingers adjusting the cufflinks of his shirt sleeves, "We would have breakfast here."
Shouko pressed the space between her brows. She lifted up her face and looked at her husband who was now sitting beside her on the bed.
"Where's Yuuya?" Her voice was a bit hoarse as she asked.
Even though she had washed her face and brushed her teeth, she still appeared in a low-spirit.
The clock showed that it was already a quarter past eight o'clock. They were supposed to have finished their breakfast and sent Kyoya off to work.
Yet, she was still in the bed.
