They entered Heisuke's neighborhood when the sun was at its peak. A few children dressed in colorful New Year's clothes and jackets stopped and moved to the side as they saw the moving car. The children cutely waved at the family of three.
"Haha, they must have been visiting from house to house," Shouko remarked while waving back at them.
"I think their pockets are heavy with all the New Year's money," Kyoya chuckled lightly.
Yuuya nodded in agreement. He could see the front pockets of their jackets bulged. Maybe it was due to the piling money envelopes.
How nice, he had never had the opportunity to go around the neighborhood when he still lived with his parents.
No one dared to invite him because of his mother who loved causing trouble. He could only watch his neighborhood children who put on their New Year's outfits moving from house to house. Besides, they would spend their other time playing together.
