The result of Shouko's thorough examination came out fine with no further complications. Only by then did Kyoya's taut expression loosened. Seeing him like that made Shouko wanted to laugh but since she felt sorry for the anxiousness she made him felt for the past few days, she refrained from doing so.
"The doctor said I'm fine, en? Don't look so stressed."
Once the doctor and nurses left the ward, Shouko tugged on Kyoya's arm with a smile. Kyoya cast a long and silent look at her. His gaze was still heavy but a hint of relief washed over the remaining worries in his heart.
"I'm afraid because of your previous car accident before, you might have complications," Kyoya confessed reluctantly.
"The doctor just mentioned for me to have good rest and more nutritious meals. Aside from a few common medicines, she didn't say anything. Isn't that a good thing?" Shouko patiently persuaded her husband, trying to lift up his mood.
