"You want to go out?" Kyoya's voice softly echoed in the dining room.
Shouko answered with a faint hum. Her eyes were lowered to the bowl of the rice which she barely ate. The ends of her chopsticks dangled over her portion of grilled fish which too, she only touched a little.
"I want to go out," Raising up her chin, Shouko looked straight to her husband, "Can I?"
"Of course, you can," Kyoya pursed his lips, his brows slightly wrinkled, "But, you've just recovered. Why don't you wait for a few more days?"
With a shake of her head, Shouko decisively rejected her husband's suggestion. Her voice was a bit bland as she added, "It's a bit stuffy here. I want to go out for some fresh air."
Her reason had successively shut him up from continuing to persuade her. Kyoya nodded. His tensed brows relaxed for a bit.
