She felt like floating on clouds. The ground beneath her feet felt unreal to her.
Shouko kept on walking yet she didn't know where should she aim herself. She kept thinking she was forgetting something, or rather, someone yet no matter what did she do, she couldn't recall who was it.
Where am I?
Shouko glanced behind her shoulders.
The world around her was vast, dyed in shades of white and blue. A thin layer of mist hovered above her ankles, blending the intersection of the sky and ground into one. There was nothing else to see in the vast field.
Where should I go?
Shouko continued walking.
Huh?
She paused her steps.
Something was falling from the sky. She squinted her eyes at the brightness of the sun. It took her some time to adjust her sight.
It was white and cold.
