Now, Shouko knew the real meaning of provoking a starving wolf.
Lying weakly in bed, Shouko groggily opened her eyes. The dawn had broke as the horizon was dyed in red with orange hues. Her eyelids felt so heavy as if little rocks were scattered on them. A groan escaped her lips as she tried to move.
"What a wolf," Shouko sighed.
The man was nowhere to be seen yet the warmth still lingered at his side of the bed. Shouko propped herself up, wanting to get up when the bedroom door was opened suddenly.
Kyoya appeared in front of the doorway, still in his sleeping robe yet his expression was so refreshed. Shouko begrudgingly stared at this stinky cow that plowed her land mercilessly last night. She had no time to be bashful.
"Good morning, my wife," Kyoya was cheerful as he approached the bed, dropping a kiss on his wife's cheek and hugging her.
"... Scoundrel."
