After an early breakfast on the next day, Shouko and Kyoya immediately left. Kenji would bring them to the care home first before driving the couple to the airport next.
The sound of children's laughter echoed as soon as the car entered the yard of the care home. The children were playing happily with each other. All of them were bundled up in coats. The temperature dropped even further as the winter was nearly approaching.
"I want to go and talk to Director Shinohara for a bit," Shouko smoothened her long skirt. Turning her head, she smiled at the man beside her, "Do you want to follow me or do you want to walk around here?"
"I'll just go and see the children playing," Raising his hand leisurely, Kyoya lightly pulled one strand of her hair that was stuck under the coat. His gesture was simple yet carried unspoken intimacy between the two of them, "You should go and talk to the director yourself. I won't interfere."
