In the quiet graveyard, only Shouko's voice filled the silence.
"Keitaro, Mom made rice balls for you. Dad told Mom that you have always loved kitty-shaped riceballs. Dad helped Mom to make them. He said you like omelets and mayo fried chicken as the fillings. Mom made it as tasty as I could."
Shouko paused. Tears started blurring her eyes. She used her free hand to wipe them away.
"And, Shiori, Mom's daughter... Mom hopes you're happy with your brother. Please accompany your brother for Mom and Dad, en? Don't let him bully you. Hehe, Mom thinks your brother would dote on you the most. Mom..."
Shouko fell into silence. She wanted to speak more but all the words she wanted to say were inexplicably blocked in her chest. Even right now she felt that she hadn't spoken enough. What made her irritable was when she found that the words she said earlier sounded perfunctory like none a mother should.
