Shouko clenched and unclenched her hands a few times. She took a couple of deep breaths, trying to ease what she was currently feeling.
Thinking back on her husband's words, Shouko took her handphone from the inside of her bag. She directly called Director Shinohara. The director answered her call after three rings. Shouko immediately told her the purpose of her call.
"Ah, it's unfortunate but, you don't have to worry. Hang on, I'll get Yuuya for you," Director Shinohara was quick to heed to her request.
To this female director, Shouko said she had a family matter and thus was unable to make a visit today. Director Shinohara understood and didn't ask about the details from her.
After waiting for a few minutes, Shouko heard faint voices through the end of the line. Director Shinohara's voice came next.
"I'll pass the phone to Yuuya. You could talk to him."
