The next morning came in a blur. By the time Shouko finally realized what had happened, she had already been carried to their room by Kyoya. His steps were steady, hitting against the floor. Shouko unconsciously nuzzled against his chest as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Awake?" His low voice resounded above her head.
Shouko blinked her eyes. Somehow, her eyelids felt so heavy as if there were little rocks sitting on them.
"...Why did you carry me?"
Even though her mind was still in a blur, she faintly remembered that they was supposed to be sleeping inside the secret room of his study.
They were supposed to sleep on their son's bed.
"The ventilation of the room isn't good. You could sleep on our bed if you want to continue sleeping. It's only 5, sleep some more," Kyoya patiently explained to her.
Shouko answered with a low hum.
