In the following days, Shouko didn't fail to make a trip to the care home every single day. Yet, no matter how she tried, Yuuya was still reluctant to see her.
Not only her, but Chieko also said the little boy refused to see his friends who were worried about him. Only Chieko, Doctor Iijima and Director Shinohara were allowed to do so. Yuuya kept on sleeping inside the sickbay all by himself.
In the end, she could only leave without having much to interact with him.

Shouko jolted up. She felt a sharp pain on her forehead. Her eyes lifted up, she saw Aunt Masako was looking at her with her hand hung over the air.
