"I'm really okay. You should go and finish your work."
Her affirmative attitude was shot down by an amused look from him.
"Oh? Do you really think so? What if I found someone lamenting on her woes alone after this?"
Shouko shut her mouth at the sound of his teasing remark. She lowered her head, looking like a dejected kitten. Kyoya sighed in helplessness. He raised his hand and patted her head a few times.
After dinner, Shouko urged her husband to go to the study room because she knew he was still extremely busy. Yet, instead of complying with her, Kyoya refused to do so. Instead, he pulled her to the lounge.
"I'm really okay, ah," Shouko pouted. She looked at him with a glare as if she was wronged by him.
Kyoya gave her a knowing look. Shouko shut her mouth and diverted her eyes elsewhere.
"Do you really have nothing else to tell me?"
