Shouko didn't know what time did she fall asleep. She only remembered the soothing feeling she felt when Kyoya hugged her close to him. He patiently rubbed her head down to the small of her back while whispering words of comfort.
Her cries slowed down and she eventually fell asleep. What she vaguely felt later was the feeling of she was being lain down on the soft mattress before a gentle voice echoed by her ears.
"Sleep well, my love."
Then, her consciousness began to drift away.
She slept without any dream or nightmare.
The next time Shouko woke up, she felt her eyesight was extremely blurry than usual. The sunlight broke in through the slips of the curtain, dimly illuminating the room. She lightly touched her face and felt there were eyebags under her eyes.
