The next day, Shouko occupied her time by reviewing the content of her story so far. Since she had to postpone her visit to the care home, there was nothing else for her to do until then. Shouko managed to write until she was satisfied with its progress.
By lunchtime, she posted a short paragraph of her new story to her circle of friends inside the messaging app. Accompanied the paragraph was a photo of her book and pens scattered on the table.
[Taking a new step toward an unfamiliar road, would it be cleared from the pebbles and stones? No one knew yet we still have to take the very first step.]
Before Shouko left the home library, she got a message from Teacher Shoda. Once she opened and read its content, a smile curled up softly on her lips.
Teacher Shoda: Your idea is aligned with mine. We've done it a few times in the past yet all of them were on a small scale. Let's talk more once we meet again.
