The next day, Shouko busied herself with the new ideas popping inside her mind. They came when she was telling the story to the children yesterday. As the ideas began forming a shape inside her head, it was not good if she delayed writing it down.
She sat on the fluffy white carpet. Her books were scattered on the low table in front of her.
"En, from here he should start his journey," Shouko mumbled to herself in the stillness of the bedroom. Her focus was fixated on the notebook under the tip of her pen, "It'd be better if he set out with someone from the village as well."
Shouko jotted down a few more points before she paused writing. Up until now, she had been referring to the child protagonist as 'the boy'. She had yet to choose a suitable name for him. It was improper to continue writing without finalizing the name.
