Shouko and the young carer walked to the lounge nearby. The lounge was occupied with a few couches, low tables as well as a cabinet full of snacks and drinks.
Shouko gestured for the carer to sit. Her eyes lingered on the younger woman's name tag. Her name was Yanagi Chieko. True to her name, she appeared wise and sensible.
"Mrs. Kashino, do you have something that requires my help?" Chieko was a soft-spoken young lady. The way she spoke wasn't much different to Shouko's. She calmly sat on a single couch beside where the writer sat.
Shouko gave her a reassuring smile, "I just want to ask you a few things. I've talked to Director Shinohara yesterday but, she said the carers for the children should be able to help me more than her. I'm sorry for taking your time."
