After breakfast the next morning, Shouko made a cup of hot yuzu tea for herself. She scooped three teaspoons of the yuzu marmalade, placed them inside a teacup then poured hot water over them. The refreshing scent of the yuzu tea made her curved up a smile on her lips.
Kyoya had gone to work. Light rain fell from the sky ever since dawn so they didn't go for a morning run.
Right now, she was sitting in the lounge instead of the home library. Shouko sat on the thick and warm white carpet, all of her books and stationeries scattered on the low table. Accompanied by a cup of yuzu tea and the sound of the soft drizzle outside the lounge, it carried a melancholy and sweet feeling to her.
She won't continue the original series of Aiko and her adventures. Aiko and the Moon was the perfect book to end the series.
Now, she would start a new one. Shouko had even consulted Editor Minagawa yesterday after coming back from the city library.
