Ender did not sleep his first night at Agremonth. There was an odd feeling about the enormous castle and found even sitting calmy alone in the room assigned to him difficult. It was not only because he was in the home of an enemy, but there was also something about how the keep felt to him. Almost unperceivable but detected none the less, he sensed something was off.
Aniyoh had just shrugged when he mentioned the feeling to her before she parted to her room across the hall from him. It seemed he had been relegated to the guest wing. At least it wasn't the dungeon, he thought. Ender had seen enough of those in his long years.
