Chapter 39 - O.P.J Chapter 39: Mr. 3

Azure Seas and Endless Skies

Mr. 3 had received his orders from none other than Crocodile himself. He was to embark on a treacherous journey towards Whisky Peak, and the stakes were higher than ever before.

Accompanying him on his voyage was the "Unluckies" - an unlikely pairing of a sea otter and a bald eagle. They had been tasked with a simple mission in the past - to ensure that special agents completed their tasks efficiently. However, with the recent demise of the Empress, Crocodile had other plans for them.

This time, they were to assist Mr. 3 in gathering intel on the infamous Saitama warship. The mission was not for the faint of heart, and the risks were aplenty. But Mr. 3 was a man on a mission, and he would stop at nothing to get what he wanted.

"Can you believe it? Our next opponent is actually a Rear Admiral in the Navy," exclaimed Mr. 3, his voice laced with a mix of surprise and excitement.

The Unfortunate Duo had already gathered some intel, and Mr. 3 was poring over it, his eyes sparkling with anticipation. "And to top it off, it's none other than the infamous Bald-Devil himself! Sure, he's only renowned in the East Blue, but he's still a force to be reckoned with. I can't wait to see what he's made of."

Sitting nearby, Miss Goldenweek was working on her latest artwork, but her attention was drawn to Mr. 3's musings. "Should we back down then, boss?" she asked, her voice laced with concern.

Mr. 3 let out a dismissive chuckle. "Of course not, my dear Goldenweek. We have a mission to complete, and we won't let anything stand in our way. But it's true, a head-on confrontation would be risky. We'll need to be clever and use every trick up our sleeves if we want to come out on top."

He leaned back in his chair, a smirk playing across his lips. "After all, on the high seas, it's not just strength that matters. It's wits and cunning that make all the difference. And trust me, we've got plenty of that."

Miss Goldenweek arched an eyebrow and asked, "So, what's your brilliant plan?"

Mr. 3 leaned back with a smug grin, "We've already located the warship's position...I recall that the 'Little Garden' is nearby, where two dim-witted monsters who used to belong to the 'Giant Warrior Pirates' have been locked in an epic, century-long battle. These brutes boast a combined bounty of over a two hundred million berries, and the World Government has yet to revoke it...Given that our bald-headed adversary is a Navy bigwig, he's sure to take action when he sees two of the most wanted criminals passing right under his nose, don't you think?"

"All we need to do is lead the Navy to the Little Garden, and sit back and watch as the two brawlers pummel each other to a pulp. Then, we can swoop in and claim victory!"

Brogy the Red Ogre and Dorry the Blue Ogre.

Once feared as the Giant Warrior Pirates, this band of colossal warriors from Elbaf left a trail of destruction in their wake, razing villages and plundering ships with reckless abandon. Their notoriety was matched only by their ferocity.

The two warriors currently embroiled in a titanic struggle at the Little Garden are none other than two of the Giant Warrior Pirates' four fearsome captains.

"The bounty on these two pirates is a whopping 100 million berries each," exclaimed Miss Goldenweek, as she lounged against the ship's railing with her eyes closed. "They must be quite notorious."

"Notorious, you say? With my unparalleled wit, I doubt we'll even need you to make an appearance," boasted Mr. 3, as he pulled out a pirate flag from under his recliner and handed it to the unfortunate duo. "Hang this flag on the mast, and with the 'Angry Red' paint that Miss Goldenweek has so expertly applied, those foolish marines will fall right into our trap! Hahaha!"

The sea otter and the bald eagle squawked in protest, seemingly expressing their anger.

But Mr. 3 was one of the highest-ranked agents and with the current situation, the unfortunate duo's status had diminished considerably. So, he paid no attention to the two animals' complaints, and with a scowl on his face, simply said, "The boss's orders are for you to give your all and cooperate with me, got it?" And with that, the two animals obediently climbed up the mast to hang the pirate flag.

All preparations were in place.

Mr. 3 straightened his attire with confidence, ready to welcome yet another triumph of his intellect.

"Physical strength? Ha! That's a joke," he scoffed. "In the face of my absolute intelligence, no matter how strong an opponent is, they wouldn't stand a chance."

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Half an hour later, Mr. 3 finally caught sight of the navy ship on the horizon. The lookout from the Unluckies confirmed the presence of a bald marine on deck...

"But wait, what was Miss All Sunday doing on board? Was she there, as ordered by their boss, to assist with the mission as a spy?" He muttered, "Tsk, being beautiful really has its advantages," Mr. 3 annoyed at how easily she had gained the trust of the navy.

But there was no time for hesitation. He ordered the Unluckies to steer the disguised pirate ship closer to the navy vessel. They had a mission to accomplish, and nothing would stop them from achieving victory.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

On the Marine ship, the lookout spotted Mr. 3's pirate ship and immediately reported to their commanding officer.

"Sir, a pirate ship is challenging us ahead! Shall we commence firing?"

Pirate ship? Saitama and his crew, who were conversing on the deck, were taken aback.

"Were pirates really this bold now? Despite seeing the Navy ship, they dared to appear in front of them?" Tashigi said, turning to look at the sea, they indeed saw a ship with a pirate flag approaching from afar. And for some reason, the sight of the flag inexplicably ignited a surge of anger within them.

"What's going on?" Tashigi clenched her sword tightly, feeling a sense of panic. "Why do I suddenly feel so angry?"

"I think I know who's here..." Robin, who was seated beside her, was quick to discern the truth. "It should be Miss Goldenweek's artistic ability. Through her palette, she can easily manipulate the emotions and personalities of others, even if they are powerful opponents, especially when paired with Mr. 3."

Tashigi quickly closed her eyes and gritted her teeth. "Another Devil Fruit power, is it?"

"It's unlikely," Robin shook her head. "There are countless incredible things in this world besides Devil Fruit powers, and this may just be Miss Goldenweek's innate talent."

Saitama glanced at the approaching pirate ship for a while before scratching his head. "But I don't feel anything at all."

"Strong wills can resist external manipulation," Robin explained with a mysterious tilt of her head. "I think...perhaps it's because you're too strong, Saitama-san."

"Huh?" Saitama looked a little disappointed. "That's a shame."

-----------------------------------------------------------------

At this moment, Mr. 3 estimated a safe distance and stopped approaching any further.

He then took out a large horn that he had prepared in advance and started shouting at Robin and her navy companions in an extremely arrogant and provoking tone.

"You weak and cowardly Navy!!!"

"I am the number one fighter of the Giant Soldier Pirates under the command of our leader, Dorry-Sama!"

"If you dare, come and meet your doom at 'Little Garden'!!"

"But you won't, will you? After all, on this island, there are two notorious pirates with bounties over 100 million berries each, Dorry the Blue Ogre and Brogy the Red Ogre!!! Hahaha!!!"

The amplified noise reverberated across the sea, piercing even at a distance.

Saitama covered his ear with one hand and waved the other in irritation.

"Too noisy!"

With a swift motion, he released a missile-like shockwave that shattered Mr. 3's ship into tiny pieces, despite being separated by a couple of hundred meters.

Mr. 3 was left stunned and confused as he found himself stranded in the ocean, his strength sapped from the impact. But his eyes reflected an almost incredulous horror as he tried to process what he had just witnessed.

"This guy... Was he just too strong to be real!?"
