In the middle of the capital there stood a palace, a one of a kind in universe. It's beauty is so majestic that if someone wants to describe it in words, he would feel embarrassed ashamed for not having appropriate words for describing its beauty. Every word used for describing couldn't even capture ten percent of it's beauty.
The Palace has an extraordinary grand majestic form. If someone from heavenly plane see this palace, he will mistake this palace that it belongs to some high class god of the heavenly plane or brought here from the heavenly plane. The palace shown with great splendour, it's brilliance seems to shy away even the rays coming from the sun.
From far The Palace looks like it's on fire, the aura coming from it was nothing less than heavenly, mixture of celestial and extraterrestrial auras. Palace rose up to heights that it was touching the clouds. It was made from the excellent materials that universe have. The golden walls adorned with variety of beautful pictures and alive looking portraits can make any being mesmerised by it's well-built and rich beauty.
Within The Palace there is a large beautiful lake built by it's architect. In the lake there are all kind of lotuses and other kinds of aquatic flower blooming on the surface. There are bright and dark coloured gems in depth of lake. There are aquatic fowls of different species playing there among themselves. In the middle of the lake there is a huge golden lotus blooming majestically, surrounded by golden leaves and giving it an impression of a king surrounded by his subjects. The bank of the lake was covered in beautiful expensive marbles and pearls.
The Palace was designed and built by Mayasura, a great ancient king of Asura Tribe for the current Emperor. This Palace has such grandeur that it also became one of the greed and reason of The Great War.
Thousands of soldiers known as 'Mahalrakshaks' are guarding and protecting The Palace. All of them are well-built, having great strength, well armed and capable of ranging in air.
Today the whole palace is in the festive mood as today is the Coronation ceremony of the prince Nichiketa. Today he is finally 15 years old and the day of fulfilling of what the Queen Mother said 14 years ago when His Majesty left the throne. Everyone in the capital and in the palace was excited happy and expectant of for the event.
The guests who had come from all over the world are feeling themselves being extraordinary, lucky cause they'll be witnessing the event. Some are even thinking that they must used their life worth of luck just by coming here and witnessing the event of the prince becoming the emperor but they're not sad contrarily they're thinking they can now die a satisfying death.
The people in capital were crowding before the Palace, they just wanted to see the prince for once today before he became emperor and get bounded by his duties. They were thinking, then he'll not come down to them to meet them to talk to them to listen them, afterall an emperor life's every second is for his subjects and after he will become emperor he will not just have to look after the capital but the whole empire.
The guests who had come from other kingdoms are also eager to see the prince but the reason behind their desire to see him are totally different from those people. They want to see the son of the emperor whose strength made the powerful demons powerless before him, the emperor who extinguished almost all the experts from the surface of world in the war, the emperor whose strength sent many godkins into hiding.
They were here to see the younger brother of a fierce dragon, the prince who overshadowed many experts from the older generation, who single handedly killed hundreds of experts and broke through the 'Shahasrabhuj' the killing formation which even gods never will to face. The prince for whom the strongest experts of the empire had to join hands to kill, they are here to see the younger brother of that prince.
They are expectant, they are here to size him up using the scales of his brother and his father. They want to know if the blood of the Kashyapa Clan is still as vigorous as it was in The Great War or it has become dull with time.
In the inner circle of the palace. There was a room, from outside it looks exceptionally majestic, the door of the room was big and the gates are adorned with all kind of shining gems and pearls. But the inside view of the room can be explained with just one single word - peaceful.
There were no shining jewels or gems no otherworldly item in the room except few large shining stones or gems that were used for lighting the room and portraits on the wall. The room had an otherworldly atmosphere it was very peaceful, it was soo mind soothing that it can even calm a hungry fierce lion.
In the room are sitting two people. A young boy and a middle aged looking woman. The young boy was wearing normal plain clothes which was perfectly clean, you will not even find a single speck of dust on it. Except the sweet fragrance which is coming from the clothes, there's nothing royalish in the room even the middle aged woman is wearing white plain dress.
The young boy is named Nichiketa by his father on the advice of the royal priest, he is the prince, the main character of everyone's discussion and expectations outside the room. The middle aged woman is her mother, the wife of the emperor, her majesty and the Queen Mother for the people.
Today is the coronation day of the prince so the people outside the room were thinking that he must be happy even if not excited but contrary to everyone's thought, there's a solemn expression on his face with a tinge of worry mixed in it.
" Mother you remember the promise you made 10 years ago? " he asked his mother. There was a question he always used to ask his mother but never got the reply, what he get in reply was he should wait for the right time and that he is not ready to bear the burden of the answer.
" Yes I remember " said the middle aged woman with a quiet and peaceful tone. There was no anxiousness or worries written on her face, it was a peaceful expression still and calm. If someone look closely to her face he will find that her face was almost expressionless right now.
" Now can you tell me where is my father?" asked the prince " Where did he went that day with his sworn brothers and the Great Uncle?"
" Before I answer this you have to promise me that you will listen everything carefully and not be driven by your emotions after that. Can you do that? " asked the mother
" I have waited for 10 years now for knowing this answer. Now even if I have to sit and listen here for days I will do that. As for promise. I, Nichiketa, the son of Emperor Arjuna, a member of the great Clan Kashyapa promise in front of Sun, Gods and Goddesses that I will not be driven by my emotions after hearing " promised the prince.
" Very well. Tell me what do you remember about your Great Uncle? What do you think of him? ask the mother
" Great Uncle is the king of Dwarika. He is from the ancient Aadi Clan. He and his elder brother is one of the top strongest experts on the whole mortal plane and together they're absolutely invincible. Not even gods can claim that they can defeat them if the both come together in a fight.
He is not only a good friend of father but also a great supporter of the Kashyapa clan. People even say that he and his brother is actually blessed by all of the three supreme gods. He is also the reason father won the Great War." replied the prince with a deep reverence in his voice. Anyone who listening him right now can clearly tell that this young man worship his Great Uncle even in his dreams.
" Good. I understand " said the mother after that she slowly took out a letter and while giving it to him she said "This was the letter I got from the people we send to Dwarika to ask your father and his brothers to come back cause there were some unnatural events occurring in the sky for fews months after they left capital."
The prince took the letter and read it. Suddenly his face started darkening and till he reaches the end of the letter he was already shuddering. He read the letter once again. He read it few more time but nothing changed except now he was shuddering and his eyes were moistened.
He looked towards his mother wanting to say something but the words were not coming out of his mouth. It was like they were stuck in his throat. It took him a while before he calmed down. And then he again looked at his mother's calm face and asked.
"Mother, how is this possible? How can Dwarika be totally destroyed and submerged under the sea water? How can one of the strongest ancient Clan Aadi Clan be massacred to last of it's member. How can the strongest brother duo with whom even gods fear can be killed? And how can father and his brothers be dead?" asked the prince.
