Again, Silence falls between the two.
"Correct, she was killed in front of my eyes. I was twelve and she was ten. She was a lot stronger than me because she had already awoken her powers at a young age. She had the ability to control her aura, just like me. She was smarter, she was courageous. She made everyone around her proud. As you know master, only a select few can awaken their abilities."
"That's correct, there are only a few thousand people in the entire world that possess these mysterious abilities. And if I recall it was around five thousand years ago when there was the first recording of a human with strange powers."
"Yeah, and my sister was one of those rare people that possessed powers. We were walking home from school, when we encountered another human that possessed powers. He was able to transform parts of his body into weapons. He was robbing a bank, and my sister decided to try and stop him. They fought and caused massive damage to the street. I felt powerless as all I could do was watch. The man realized that he was losing and saw me. I think he realized we were siblings so he dashed towards me. All I could do was stand there, scared. My sister realized what was happening and immediately dashed in front of me, blocking his attack with her blade. However, he transformed his leg into a blade and stabbed her. Right in front of me. She looked towards me and apologized, she immediately collapsed."
"Your sister is a brave young lady. And so what happened to the guy?"
"I killed him, I don't know what happened. I just felt power swell up inside me. And next thing I know I have an aura sword in my hand. And the guy is on the ground with multiple lacerations."
His master looks down at the boy and thinks to himself.
"Interesting, the runt awakens his powers when his sister is killed. It couldn't be could it? Impossible, transferring powers has never been heard of. But what if?"
