Caramel and I were resting when I heard movement. (We are in deep deep woods far far away from any towns) I didn't move or breathe. Just then a rabbit jumped out of the bushes.
'I need weapons,' I thought. I used to watch survival shows before...this.
I got to work and sharpened a stick using a stone, which took a while. The only problem was that it didn't fit in the saddlebags. Luckily, I was in an area with some vines, so I fashioned a sort of sling that is like a sash but has a pocket on the back. Now just to climb back on Caramel... "ugh" I said as trying to remount Caramel.
I took out my compass to see which way is north. I try to remember why I went off the main road. Oh right, Lupas. Once I figured out which way is North, I got fair enough away from the main road at a safe distance invade another "run in" with a Lupa.
I had no idea how far I'd gone yet. If I moved about 50 miles a day, then I'm probably almost there. Once I get to the safe place, Caramel and I can put ourselves to good use. I don't know what humanity will do with these Lupas everywhere. But that question doesn't make the Top 3.
Question 1: What are the Lupas and where do they come from?
Question 2: Who dropped the bomb(s)?
Question 3: Why was I the only one who didn't die? (Well besides Caramel)
