Sisi?
Pet?
Mu Zi stared at Mu Rongcheng for a long time before realizing that he was talking about the original Mu Zi.
As a rebellious and withdrawn dark girl, was it that weird that she kept a snake as a pet?
Mu Zi shrank under Mu Rongcheng's quilt. She had no intention of coming out.
She laughed dryly and said, "Is that so… Haha, I couldn't recognize it since it's been a while since I last saw it."
The only change a snake would have would be its length. How could she have not recognized it?
Besides… Even if she really did not recognize it, she had no reason to be this afraid.
Mu Rongcheng narrowed his deep and cold eyes. His gaze lingered on her for a long time.
His younger sister had changed dramatically since she had been discharged from the hospital...
Mu Zi was frightened with his look and tried her best to squeeze out an innocent smile. "Brother?"
Mu Rongcheng's thin lips raised slightly. A strange bewitching smile appeared on his handsome face.
Mu Zi grew nervous, feeling that Mu Rongcheng was up to no good. Alarm bells rang in her head, but Mu Rongcheng simply got out of bed slowly—
Mu Zi's body relaxed the moment she was no longer in Mu Rongcheng's line of sight.
"Sisi was left unattended during the few days you were hospitalized, so mom asked me to take care of it for a while." Mu Rongcheng seemed to chat casually with her. He reached out and picked up the snake from the ground, held its head, and handed it to Mu Zi. "Do you want to take it back?"
Mu Zi dived back under the quilt with a whoosh!
"No thanks!" She gritted out while hiding.
He could clearly see that she was afraid, but he deliberately used the snake to frighten her. He really was up to no good!
Mu Zi faintly heard Mu Rongcheng's low laughter from under the quilt. The thought that this man was a vile *sshole intensified in her mind.
"Put the snake back! The room is dark. You'll hurt it if you step on it." She shouted.
Mu Rongcheng stared at the lump on the bed as his smile widened maliciously.
This little thing was quite good at coming up with excuses.
"How did you become so timid after getting out of the hospital?" Mu Rongcheng put the snake back into the enclosure before walking back and patting the quilt softly. "Come out."
Mu Zi immediately blushed.
He just patted her butt...
She came out of the quilt with a red face, somewhat embarrassed.
The boa constrictor on the floor was no longer there, so she climbed out of the bed with confidence.
"What kind of girl isn't afraid of snakes? I only wanted to raise it out of curiosity before, but I'm not curious anymore, so I'll just let brother raise it…" Mu Zi said with her head down. She tidied up her messy hair and pretended to be calm.
However, Mu Rongcheng did not reply even after some time.
Mu Zi felt that it was odd and turned to look—
Her body immediately froze in its place.
Mu Rongcheng was leaning against the bedside cabinet and stared at her silently. He was not wearing clothes… No, he was not completely naked. He still had a pair of boxer briefs on.
Although she knew that people usually did not wear much when they slept, she still could not help but blush!
She wanted to look away but felt that it would cause the situation to grow more awkward. They were brother and sister. If she overreacted, she would appear abnormal.
Mu Zi forced herself to look straight at Mu Rongcheng.
Strong abdominal muscles, a sexy v-line, and slightly bent arms held the bedside cabinet. The languid aura made one feel decadent.
He was incredibly handsome and had a cold temperament. His body was also strong with beautiful and well-defined muscles without looking exaggerated or crude.
Mu Zi had to admit. Although this guy was a jerk, his figure… was really good.
Mu Rongcheng looked at her silently. His eyes were deeply still and slightly strange.
Mu Zi's heart jumped twice. She suddenly felt a little panic.
"Mom asked me to come…" Mu Zi stammered out of nervousness. "She told me to wake you up for breakfast… You should wash up quickly and come."
She hurriedly explained why she was here as she was in a hurry to leave.
Just as she walked to the door, the man behind her called—
"Su Zi."
