During the time Jian Yuncheng left the Jian Residence, Mo Shiyun had started arguing with her mother in their nearby cabin.
"Mother, please don't do this kind of thing next time. I already promised you that I'll prepare a gift," Mo Shiyun said whilst frowning. Her tone sounded rather helpless.
"What are you talking about?" Aunt Mo replied in a confused tone.
"Young master Yuncheng's gift. You shouldn't have done that."
"Wait. Didn't you prepare that gift?" Aunt Mo asked back. Her expression appeared to be surprised.
Mo Shiyun discovered from her mother's expression that her mother was indeed unaware of the situation.
"You didn't do it? Then...." Mo Shiyun trailed off in bewilderment.
"I assumed the gift was prepared by you. I don't think anyone else in the Jian family would have considered preparing a gift… So… Mother thought… Ahhhh… Was it not your gift?"
